Apparently those who use Gmail, Google has actually been reading our emails all these years. :attitude: :grr:  :grouchy: :scary:

The "I Saw Something REALLY Weird Today" Thread

Evangelists and Evangelical Christians are truly nutcases, they really are: these are the same people who are saying things like God will personally punish people who don't support Trump, or that adults should beat the Elmo out of kids until they accept Jesus and respect Christianity.

How to make a Grover puppet?

No. Do not use luxury shag. I've tried it because it's easy to obtain, but luxury shag is not a good fabric: as I said, it's very stiff and heavyweight, and will result in a heavy and cumbersome puppet with limited flexibility.

    The breakfast cereal thread

Yup, turns out that Oreo O's will, indeed, be a Walmart-exclusive product. It's not that big a deal, but like I said, it's a drag having to make a special trip out to Walmart for certain products that apparently can't be sold in other grocery store chains - especially when it comes to cereal, it...

    The Classic TV Thread

I'm rather surprised we don't already have a thread like this . . . or maybe we do and it's so old I can't find it or something, I don't know . . . if such a thread already exists, then maybe this can eventually be merged with it. Anyshoe, I stumbled upon a rather obscure, yet bizarre...

How to make a Grover puppet?

Fur isn't going to dye very well, no matter what color you try to dye it - I speak from experience, I also once tried to dye a yard of white fur charcoal gray, and instead it came out silver . . . I'm going to assume your fur probably came out a paler shade of blue like periwinkle or cornflower...

West Nile, Swine Flu, Meningitis, and Sequelitis

Speaking of sequelitis. . . . http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6298780/ Hey, with a cast like Olivia Newton-John, Gilbert Gottfried, Kathie Lee Gifford, Margaret Cho, Fabio, Tony Hawk, Bret Michaels, Al Roker, and Charo as the Queen of England, how could this possibly kill any careers?

    Fellow Church People

Funny you mentioned that, because he kept mentioning Islam in his sermon as well.

    Fellow Church People

See, what you guys say sounds more like what I've always been taught throughout life. Like you say 1000 Eyes, the pastor mentioned the Biblical aspect of what he was saying, but I honestly don't remember a point in the Bible where it says God divvies up salvation to a few lucky ones and leaves...

    Fellow Church People

I'm bumping this thread again, because I'm having a little trouble swallowing something I heard a pastor mention in a sermon yesterday afternoon. During his sermon, he said that the people of earth who accept Jesus and are Saved by His grace are predestined to do so by God. This bothers me...

    Drtooth, if you're out there...

That's kind of my thing about church: when I was growing up, church was pretty much no different than, say, school, or going to the doctor - it was somewhere you had to go, whether you wanted to or not, and when you're a kid, if you have to go somewhere, of course you don't enjoy it. On that...

    Sesame Street Season 47 Episode 4724 - Father's Day

I felt like this episode was something of a throwback to 3832, where Prairie kept wanting Rosita to take pictures of her with her camera: doesn't take much for Prairie to hijack someone else's project(s). I liked the detail that Prairie's camera is a GoPro, as well as Slimey blinged out for his...

The “What did you do today?” thread

Ben Stiller is doing something incredibly awesome: he's bringing back DODGEBALL (as you guys know is one of my favorite movies) for a charity showdown between Globo Gym and Average Joe's, and if you make a donation to the Stiller Foundation, you get entries for a chance to win an opportunity to...
