And now Palisades is creating Pink Panther action figures, and Fun 4 All the Sesame Street Action figures, and there's the Star Wars action figures...we can have TONS of fun recreating all these old sketches, eh?
Didn't know about the Beetle Baily deal, though.
Actually, we've got to keep in mind that many posters here range in age from pre-teens to late 30's+. He may be an equal fan of both Muppets and Scooby Doo (as am I with Muppets and Peanuts...and Ghostbusters...and Blues Brothers). Don't be mad at him for his particular fanaticisms or...
FYI: There's www.peanutscollectorclub.com which has an AWESOME FAQ about the characters; they even list the first-run dates of comic strips which resemble an earlier strip done by Schulz! That's research! They list the names of all the kids, first introductions into the strips, all kinds of...
A good friend of mine taped it for me, so I hope to see it. I also still haven't seen "Lucy Must Be Traded, Charlie Brown" either.
The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show featured vignettes of different comic strips from over the years. Actually, I liked the CBnS Show alot--it were funn-ee to me.
I wonder if a recent incident here where a woman was found dead in the park was part of this kind of deal; there was also another incident a while back where 2 men stabbed each other to death in a car and died there! You HAVE to wonder what's up with that'un.
The roles I want to play are:
Audrey II (once as voice, once as puppeteer)
Scarecrow of Oz
Cowardly Lion
Charlie Brown
Snoopy (but as a puppet, which will never happen)

Did anybody notice that the "Foreign Buds Byron n Alex" favors Bert and Ernie (in that order)...
From all I've read about Jim, I was amazed that I have so much in common with him (Wizard of Oz, art, puppetry, interests in general, both being born in MS)--then again, that about fits the bill for any of us here I suppose.
The World Of Jim Henson is a great video and I see it was already...
And had you done that, you COULD have played Princess Fred...until you were caught later.
(Princess Fred? I knew a guy named Greg who was a 'queen.')
