Eisner confirms Disney could buy Henson and Muppets soon

I don't think Disney will merely release old Muppet stuff. It's not their style. I'm just waiting for another Pooh movie to come oiut after this latest one. Owl hasn't had his big movie yet. ;)

I wanted Queen Latifa to win too. She stole every scene she was in. Too bad they cut some big scenes. :(

New Who Framed Roger Rabbit DVD with extras!!March 25!

I watched the commentary last night. I was expecting more, but maybe that's because I know so much about the film already. There were many opportunities to discuss things that they passed over. Still lots of new stuff.

    Diet Time. Oy!

electricmayhem and Nate are absolutely right. Good luck and remember that you are a cool guy no matter what the scale reads. :)

Eisner confirms Disney could buy Henson and Muppets soon

It's always good to diversify and Farscape proved that they can do things aside from puppets. There were a couple of puppet characters, but the program could have done just as well without them. Actually, some think they hindered the show. I liked them from what I've seen. Since projects are...

    Academy Awards

Wasn't Hanks in the previous Oscar winners segment? I remember hearing that he wouldn't be there. Maybe it was a cut-in, but I thought he was there. Hanks sure is picking some really sculpted roles that others might not think are choice. I hope it continues. I enter every theater with a blank...

    Interesting Gulf War News

Poor grammar keeps getting through my spell check! I have a highschool and college degree. Really, I do! :o

New Who Framed Roger Rabbit DVD with extras!!March 25!

Zack That's exactly where the pig scene was placed. After Eddie breaks loose from the cuffs, he says he's going to the Ink and Paint Club, not back to his office. Even the cover artwork was from old stock images. I guess there may be legal issues and an approval process about drawing new...

    Academy Awards

Road to Perdition is not the family friendly film the previews made it out to be. It is pretty violent and more than earned its R rating. I liked Hanks in it because it's a restrained role. He doesn't play it up. The one other performance of his this subtle and effective was in Philadelphia. But...

    Academy Awards

Couldn't agree more. I also am very glad that Nicole received the Oscar this year. Her performances in Moulin Rouge and especially The Others really made me take notice of an actress I thought was mediocre. I did like Julianne Moore for the award too, but I think we'll be seeing even more of...

New Who Framed Roger Rabbit DVD with extras!!March 25!

Really? I guess cartoons started getting conservative in the mid 80s for violence and PC purposes, but maybe things are going back the other direction. I didn't mind that they left that stuff in, but it shouldn't have had the "family friendly" label. If that's family friendly, then I don't mind...

    Wish me luck...

I'll certainly keep you in my thoughts too! We'll eventually stick to something. My booger theory. You should have seen me walking through San Fran in my suit today. It was really funny. I felt like the only one dressed up until I got to my appointments. LOL!:zany:

ryhoyarbie I get what you're saying, but I favor spreading the wealth. I must admit that any previous Oscar winner is low priority for me. Probably shouldn't be that way. It should be the one who did the best job. Adrian Brody did an excpetional job so I'm happy for him. I was rooting for him...

    Wish me luck...

I need it! The market has bee pretty dry out here. Except for some freelance gigs and an internship, things have been pretty tough. San Francisco doesn't have the best economy right now, but I have been plugging away regardless. I have 2 multimedia opportunities that are perfect, and hope to...

New Who Framed Roger Rabbit DVD with extras!!March 25!

Well, I watched all the special features I could find. The disc is wonderful, but not without small faults. Those can be easily overlooked for the great stuff the disc has. It's not all going to be perfect. The making of, comparison shots, info on Chuck Jones' involvement on the project (he...

alorindanya Do you have an online link to this catalog? I'm interested to see how much Roger stuff they have. Probably very little, but who knows?:)

    Your OTHER Name...

I don't think I know any surfers around here. Lots of skaters everywhere, but that's another story. ;)

    Your OTHER Name...

Wipes saliva off face. LOL! My last name is Carroll (like the poet, no relation). You can imagine how many people misspell that, but it's expected. Carrol, Caroll, Carol, Karel etc. That last one is kind of freaky, but yeah. Usually happens with those who English is a second language, so I can...
