Good place for a 1 year old's birthday?

Sounds like a wonderful idea! :)

    Chowder Fans Unite Here!

I've seen a few episodes of Chowder, and I enjoy it. I especially like its combination of art styles and mediums (traditional animation, stop motion, etc.), which I'm a sucker for. Panini's frequent advances toward Chowder are funny, too. :)

    When you need to rant...

I was lucky a couple of years ago. All I needed was a box fan, and we were in and out just like that. :) Reminds me of Office Space with Peter stuck in traffic. One lane begins moving quickly, so he merges there, only for it to completely stop. Rinse and repeat. :D

16 Daytime Emmy Nominations for Sesame Street

    This calls for a 16 Samba! :)

    TV Tropes

I made a thread about this a long time ago. http://www.muppetcentral.com/forum/threads/tv-tropes.45189/ And yeah, that site's addictive. :insatiable:

Why are today's kids so spoiled?

Ah yes, another one of those "everything sucks today" threads. I have almost never personally encountered a single kid who was a stereotypical spoiled, troublemaking brat like what Hubert described. However, I have encountered plenty of fowl-mouths and tantrum-throwers even during childhood, so...

    The breakfast cereal thread

WHY did they feel the need to change the pots of gold of today's cereal into hourglasses? I mean, rainbows are obviously supposed to have pots of gold at the end! Let's face it, breakfast is woo-ined (points to whoever gets that reference)! I wasn't born yet when Fruit Brute was around, but I...

    Peppermint... STINKIN...Park. Terrible Kid's show

Honestly, that felt like a stealth Barney parody. Pretty ballsy of him to admit that he's ripping him off, too.

    The breakfast cereal thread

This thread is about the cereals we like (or dislike) the most, including discontinued ones. I never really had a lot of big name cereals as a kid until I got to grade school. What I mostly ate at home was organic stuff whose names now escape me. It wasn't until I was older that I ate stuff...

    Nick at Nite Thread

CN is also not advertising their live-action show as much (Level Up is pretty much the only one they have now), which is great. I believe out of the big three kids networks (the other being Nick and Disney Channel), CN has it together the most.

Who did Jim puppeteer in Do De Rubber Duck?

Imagine what a nightmare it was performing it with all those puppeteers crammed together under the tub. :D

    When you need to rant...

I don't believe that desk jobs should take over all labor, but I also don't believe that we should all go back to toiling in the fields. Not everyone is cut out to do that stuff.

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

Okay, I just watched "In My Africa" on YouTube, and I didn't think it was that bad. All right, Tooth, I can see why you find it so bad, with it being an obvious pilot for a spinoff and mostly made up of stock footage and having elements recycled from "Dear Adil", but I find the song to be kinda...

Top cat film to released but only in uk

Don Gato is huge in Mexico, mainly due to all the different over-the-top regional accents every character was given.

    Miley and Demi

Reminds me of a Hey Arnold episode where Arnold meets one of his favorite authors and sees that she's become a bitter old recluse disillusioned with her sappy stories, but Arnold still loves her work regardless. This inspired her to create a new story for the first time in over 10 years based on...

    The Revolution won't be televised

I'm not a fan of soaps, but this is great news! Seeing any sort of program like this get cancelled just warms my heart! :)

    Dick Clark dies at 82

Sad to hear that America's oldest teenager is no more. It was sad enough that he suffered a stroke years back. May he rest in peace.

    Gremlins Fans

They must have done that so it would make more sense to video owners (though I think it's shown on TV airings, too). However, the original scene is on DVD. The novelization also changes the scene in which one of the Gremlins locks the author in a room and takes over the story the way Gremlins...

Romney wants ads during Sesame Street

May 1, 1969: Congress was making budget cuts left and right. One beloved TV messiah managed to save PBS from the chopping block. :)
