Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5010 - Abby Poofs a Party

Ideally, these should've been like four or five minutes, but that's several episodes with no Cookie/Abby format piece, so I guess the producers didn't want that. But also, there wasn't much interesting about what they did with the kids. When they got to show off the unique things they do...

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5010 - Abby Poofs a Party

Well, he can't be in street stories if he's out of state! These bits disappointed me. Too short and they seemed ineffective.

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

They kinda touched on this at the Lost and Found thing at MOMI. IIRC, Rosemarie T. felt that even if aired first on TV, they still probably would've gotten complaints.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5009 - Humpty Dumpty's Football Dream

I guess they didn't have any long-form bits that pertained to the theme of Nursery Rhymes. It also struck me as overcompensating for the fact that the street plot had none of the main characters in it.

I would wager having something to do with the fact that the staff has probably been on break for the holidays.

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

It might have been more likely the production staff going, "Hey, we like these pieces the most off the album, and we think they can translate well to the screen the best."

    Thoughts on Nina

You mean four years, right? Anywho, um, I really have no opinion because the show doesn't really do much with her. The humans used to be important - they had lives that developed. Today, they feel so inessential to the overall proceedings. We barely know anything about Nina - she speaks...

I just go and search for them again; I haven't updated a "favorites" playlist since 2015.

Official: Elmo’s Staying Up Late Show coming to HBO Max on May 27, 2020

Nothing yet; there isn't even an official launch date for HBO Max. I would assume when that's announced, we'll get official word regarding these new Sesame goo-gahs.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5008 - A Recipe for Dance

My issue with the song is that it tried having its cake and eating it too with the lessons of the street story - patterns and "don't give up." And they just mish-moshed them into one song and it didn't work for me.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5008 - A Recipe for Dance

All I could think of while watching this episode was "These are talented individuals working on this show and they are being 100% wasted on this."

Official: “Muppets Now”, an unscripted series coming to Disney+ on July 31, 2020

It's not really a series of the movie (like Fame or their ilk). The conceit is that it's a mockumentary about the high school where the movie was shot, and how they're putting on their own production of the stage musical version of HSM. I haven't seen any of it, but I hear it's actually pretty...

I'm inclined to expect it sooner rather than later, as it's all been shot already, whereas Mandalorian season 2 as just announced like a week or so ago, so that will no doubt come much much later this year.

Sesame Street Special "Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration"

Because he does not have a place in the show anymore. There's no more Word on the Street, or Murray Has a Little Lamb, or little tune-in bits. That's where Joey was most comfortable putting Murray and all those things are gone. And they're suddenly not going to bring them back just because they...
