Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
Ideally, these should've been like four or five minutes, but that's several episodes with no Cookie/Abby format piece, so I guess the producers didn't want that.
But also, there wasn't much interesting about what they did with the kids. When they got to show off the unique things they do...
They kinda touched on this at the Lost and Found thing at MOMI. IIRC, Rosemarie T. felt that even if aired first on TV, they still probably would've gotten complaints.
I guess they didn't have any long-form bits that pertained to the theme of Nursery Rhymes. It also struck me as overcompensating for the fact that the street plot had none of the main characters in it.
It might have been more likely the production staff going, "Hey, we like these pieces the most off the album, and we think they can translate well to the screen the best."

Anywho, um, I really have no opinion because the show doesn't really do much with her. The humans used to be important - they had lives that developed. Today, they feel so inessential to the overall proceedings. We barely know anything about Nina - she speaks...
Nothing yet; there isn't even an official launch date for HBO Max. I would assume when that's announced, we'll get official word regarding these new Sesame goo-gahs.
My issue with the song is that it tried having its cake and eating it too with the lessons of the street story - patterns and "don't give up." And they just mish-moshed them into one song and it didn't work for me.
It's not really a series of the movie (like Fame or their ilk).
The conceit is that it's a mockumentary about the high school where the movie was shot, and how they're putting on their own production of the stage musical version of HSM. I haven't seen any of it, but I hear it's actually pretty...
I'm inclined to expect it sooner rather than later, as it's all been shot already, whereas Mandalorian season 2 as just announced like a week or so ago, so that will no doubt come much much later this year.
