Official: “Muppets Now”, an unscripted series coming to Disney+ on July 31, 2020

I mean, it'll no doubt be amusing, but it's a short-form series on a streaming service. People will no doubt see it, but I doubt it's going to be the project that brings the Muppets back to prominence. If the two theatrical movies didn't do it, these certainly won't. And enough with the Steve...

Okay, they might not be "shorts," but they are "short-form." Kirk Thatcher confirmed there's about 18 of 'em running around 10 minutes each.

The Mindset informed me that the logo came from an official Disney video that was taken down quickly after; apparently not meant to be seen yet. There's some rumors that the shorts are dropping sometime between August-October, I believe. So if we're gonna get a trailer or something, it probably...

Coming Soon: "Fraggle Rock: A Visual History"

This will no doubt be a Christmas thing for me; I have no interest in the "ultimate visual histories" for Lab. and Dark Crystal, so this is more up my alley. The original release was going to be 160 pages, apparently, while Amazon says this is 192 (same as the other Henson books of late). That...

I had that game and I don't think I ever managed to actually find a Muppet character.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5013 - A New Friend on Sesame Street

I guess I was expecting a little more from this episode, but I guess I should know better by now. This young girl is very talented from what I've seen and she shows promise; we'll be seeing quite a few times more, so we'll see where she goes from here. And nice seeing Jen! I think I'd like that...

That might be fun. These kind of quick-cut crazy Muppet montage things are a joy to make.

"Sesame Street: 50 Years and Still Sunny!" documentary to air on PBS beginning March 1, 2020

So it appears the documentary is now premiering next month; dates depend on the station (mine hasn't scheduled that far yet), so keep your eyes pealed.

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

Without going into too much detail: -Seasons 1-11 only list firsts in regards to studio pieces (like Muppet stuff, celebrities, cast sketches, and the like). The secondary number refers to the item it is within that episode. Sometimes, they haven't been right. -The way they do that is with new...

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5012 - Elmo's Good Luck Charm

I think there is a forseeable future where there is no more "Sesame Street", but there are new productions using the Sesame Muppets. Like the new things coming to HBO Max - talk show not taking place on the street, and an animated series where the characters are robots. Really feels like setting...

Video: A Groundhog Day Message from Joe the Legal Weasel

He's funny, sure, but he has a very restricted role right now that doesn't really allow him to do much beyond spouting legal jargon.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5012 - Elmo's Good Luck Charm

That was pretty fine, I suppose. I did like the slo-mo scene where he destroys the Hooper's neon sign.

HBO Max to debut Sesame Street Seasons 51-55 and stream episodes from 50-year library

It's the same stuff as HBO, but with episodes from seasons 35-40.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5011 - The Great Fruit Strike

That was amusing enough, especially Stephanie's tomato. Mr. Johnson's role felt very Bert-like, though. And this was the first time one of the cold opens had no regular characters, right? Huh, I see. So the Road Trip stuff is continuing, but not in an interview format. It worked kinda better...

    Questions about anything

It sounds much more like Bill than Kevin to me. There's another line Bill dubs somewhere else ("I'd love to, but I don't speak English."), so it seems entirely plausible that Kevin did it on set, but then Bill redubbed the lines later.
