I remember the behind-the-scenes documentary at the end of a Peter Pan VHS that showed Disney filming scenes in live-action before animating them, and using photographs of a model and oversized props as a guide for animating Tinkerbell. I wonder if Disney still does this?
In Nick Turtles, April also seems to be a bit of a tech geek like Don, so the good chemistry they had in the 2K3 series (no pun intended) is maintained here, too.
Turbo has earned almost $6 mil. on its opening day. Compare that to The Croods, which earned about $11.6 mil. on its debut, though that one opened on a weekend and had a wider release.

I unfortunately also see a lot of Fast & Furious fans/wannabe gangsta types flocking to Turbo. This film looks like it panders to that crowd, what with Snoop Dogg voicing a character, for one.
I believe it's called Murder Police, a show about an incompetent police force created by an ex-Family Guy writer and an up-and-coming animator/writer. It definitely has the potential to be good.

Fofao is a pretty impressively-made creature, I have to admit, and certainly way better than much of Vila Sesamo's characters. He just suffers from being hideously designed.
I think it's more cost effective for some shows to make the 1st season a couple of episodes long so that it won't be a huge loss for networks if the show fails. If the show is a success, the later seasons can be longer. Breaking Bad is one such show that uses this tactic.
