    When you need to rant...

You're going to love this one, Drtooth: Looks like CBS is getting, or has already gotten, a new Saturday morning block after Cookie Jar's contract expired. http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/envelope/cotown/la-et-ct-cbs-litton-entertainment-saturday-teen-block-20130724,0,7010894.story...

    Any Bronies on here?

Looks like a lot of the folks at Wayforward (the guys behind Shantae and DuckTales Remastered) want to make an MLP game. Seeing the excellent track record they've had with licensed properties, I'd say they'd be perfect! :)...

    The Best/Worst Song Covers Thread

Though I'd say Mabel kinda rescued it. Now I can't stop thinking of that song without getting reminded of her karaoke performance of the Jimmy Hart version of it! :D

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

Where the Wild Things Are made beautiful use of full-bodied puppets with digitally-crafted faces, too. Also, puppets and animatronics work best when their limitations are embraced, as Stephen King put it. Completely showing the creatures often fails (i.e. the mechanical shark in the Jaws...

    Uncle Grandpa

The lesson: If you keep making stupid faces like that, they won't just stay that way, but they'll follow you around for the rest of your life! :D

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

Apparently, you're expected to be the bigger man. It's just like inviting every one of your classmates.

The Worst CGI Kid Films In Recent Memory

To clarify, these smaller companies often copy the style of the big boys, but not the substance.

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

The biggest bronies in the universe annoy me, but not as much as the show's biggest detractors. :( Even worse is Inspector Gadget gettin' it on with Penny! I used to be a member of this Price is Right fansite called Golden-Road.net, and right when Drew Carey replaced the...

    Hate Jessie

Or what about the "jigaboo" incident from a Fraggle Rock rerun? That was especially cowardly.

Same way so many comments turned into hatred toward Justin Bieber even on unrelated videos.

The Worst CGI Kid Films In Recent Memory

There's nothing wrong with smaller companies making animated movies, whether CGI or hand-drawn. The problem is when they try too hard to emulate the big boys, and often times even the big boys have moved beyond the sort of tropes that made them big (i.e. princesses, fractured fairy tales, pop...

Where's the love for Rocky and Bullwinkle?

I guess Dreamworks is a little more cautious seeing as Turbo didn't do so hot for them.

    Foods Made Famous

The titular dish in Ratatouille is actually a variation called "confit byaldi", one big difference being that the vegetables are baked instead of fried. I've heard that The Sopranos helped bring the cured meat capicola (or "gabagool" as Tony pronounced it) into greater prominence.

    Beware the Batman impressions

The new episode has finally aired, and I'm glad to see the story arc of the Soultaker's Sword and the League of Assassins continue, or at least resolved! :)

    Tiger handheld Dinosaurs game

I never liked those Tiger games, and I could never figure out how to play them either. Somehow they were all the rage back in the '90s. Nintendo's Game & Watch games, on the other hand, were pretty awesome. :D

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

At least it's not as bad as the Fast and Furious movies. They number them, then they stop numbering them, and start back up again!
