Fox is no more tabloid these days than NBC. All of the networks have reality shows and NBC arguably has the slimiest one - Fear Factor. Fox has been a branded network for years now. It has been home to several long-running series past and present. It still skates the edges of TV, but also has...

Okay, I agree with everything you've said so far except for this statement. The truth is, there's absolutely nothing to back the idea that an NBC family-style (kiddie-friendly) show will be more fruitful than a Fox one.
Growing up with and watching these networks helps give me more...
Yep. We'll have celebration banners for most of the big Henson performers. A few performers might be skipped this year due to time constraints and other issues, but rest assured, they will eventually be made.
Can't tell you all of the menu ideas or concepts until they are out. Cinco de Mayo...
Thanks. It's hard to see, but the yellow seam on his "jacket sleeve" is painted red to match the cuffs. It breaks up the solid color and ties into his shoes and pinned-on emblem. Thought adding a bit of funkiness to the shirt helped make it appear intentional. I don't think I'll ever cusomize...
Well, I did it
I just bought some acrylics and a medium varnish and did a pretty good job. I'd say a solid B. It makes all the diffference to me. some green is still visible through the joints, but I think that's because the paint is still soft. Anyway, I got a little artistic with the sleave's...
Actually, a Cinco de Mayo menu was planned, but didn't make it up due to time constraints. There will be more menus next year. Gotta save some stuff. LOL!
Nah, I don't think we'll do that sort of thing. I'm very busy and don't think it would look very good. I do, however, like the happy accident of the "family" buy-back and the "family"-style menu. It's a funky tie-in. Like things were just meant to be.
You know, I remember watching Song of the South 6 years ago and remembering my initial thoughts as a child. I enjoyed Uncle Remus, but absolutely hated the little boy's mother. She was so mean to Remus. It's funny that her character never really gains redemption in the film. She just cries a...
I find it terribly unfortunate that studios like Disney are willing to whitewash film history. It's important that we know how far we've come. I understand why they cut the sequences and young kids shouldn't be exposed to them, but they should have an uncut edition on hand. As a culture, we need...
If Henson didn't partner-up for distribution, one or two flops could sink them. And promotion, which is crucial, is very expensive. That's why a marketing partnership is the best thing. Henson Co is spread very thin as it is.
Cool, but as my post said - there really isn't an issue with the arms at all. There should be absolutely no shaving of arms.
Ken informed me of the arm/jacket issue months ago. My point was that after seeing the figure, that explanation doesn't make much sense to me so there must be...
I just got Super Scooter and WOW! He's so cool! I’ll probably put out a full review later on.
Anyway, I just went insane and decided to cut off the jacket and guess what? He doesn't really need it! Sure, the ball of the joint is more pronounced, but not by much. The cape covers most of it...
That is so funny. It sold out so soon. I have the lunchbox and the Tux Kermit so I passed on the offer. Aside from the fact that I'm broke and running out of room. Who needs actual books on bookshelves?;) :zany:
I didn't say it wasn't going to go through. I implied that Henson might sell their shares at a later date and be able engineer a better deal with Disney or another company than they would have under EMTV. Guess you missed that part of my post.
Disney...Ii ain't likke he didn't have plenty of chances. If Eisner had been more of a salesman and less of a cartoon vulture, he could have snatched them up so easily. The Muppets are certainly worth at least twice 80M, especially after the Disney machine got their four-fingered hands on them...
With comics on the web, I believe this will become less and less of an issue. I certainly don't think someone's life should be ruined over a comic. That's crazy. But art is always under scrutiny, and I think that's a healthy thing. It creates a dialogue, a communication of ideas and thoughts...
The only trouble I had was in finding a way to put it in the freezer that allowed the door to shut. I finally just stuck it in stragely and it shut. Took me 20 minutes. LOL! An excellent piece of work, that kitchen. WOW!!!!!
It's still a cause for debate. That's what we do in this country. Jailing the cartoonist was wrong, but discussing this issue in court is the American way. :attitude: (<---bald eagle LOL!)
