It's fine for you to say that and perfectly fine for me to disagree. That's what we all do in forums. I see no connection to the likeness of a mini PVC worth a couple of bucks and of a sixty-dollar polystone bust. Apples and oranges. In fact, I am disappointed with how a couple of the PVC minis...
Just saw League. It wasn't the best film, but very creative and unpredictable. I enjoyed it. Just had to turn my brain off a bit. There was a better story to be told, but this one was a fun adventure worth a matinee IMHO.
Here are some of mine. What are yours?
1 Gonzo figure from Palisades (pending release)
2 Rowlf bust from Sideshow
3 Muppet Movie soundtrack
4 1979 Ornaments (particularly Scooter)
5 Sigma mugs (particularly Gonzo and Animal)
6 World of the Dark Crystal book
7 1983 Kermit Phone from AT&T...
How can you have a collection without Fozzie? I'm allowed to be upset by the bust. I'm buying it. Others complain about items they will never buy. I just don't see how they could have gotten Fozzie so wrong.
These are realistic representations of the characters, not cartoon versions. The...
I have to disagree with your characterization of how Weta's Fozzie looks. The Sam PVC has a great face and should not be compared to this Fozzie. There is no connection.
This looks like Fozzie's slow-witted cousin they don't talk about. Everything about his face proportions are off...
Better Pics Of New Busts.
click here!!!! Ken found this link for me. Piggy...well, she's not as bad as I thought, but it's like they tried to make her look more like the EB figure when they were already on the right track. Teeth kicks butt and Harry has more hair. Animal and Fozzie aren't shown.
You know, I should know that, but I've asked all my friends and they can't figure it out either. I blame it on my ex who built my computer. LOL!
The title of this listing makes it appear like these are all enduring icons. I don't think Dr Phil (or even Britney Spears) is really an enduring icon. She'll be seen as a Debbie Gibson ten years from now. Superman, the Flintstones, Big Bird, Madonna and the Beatles are all icons that will be...
The usage of God in the script is nobody's "fault". It was a creative choice. The part really wasn't even needed. It helped tie the story together and offered a bit of humor.
My years of private school education resulted in many theology classes. Technically, the God of the Bible has no sex...
Could be a memory issue with your computer. A quirky fact that I discovered is that if you don't see the images must put a slash after MuppetCentral.com/ (<----like so) and the images will pop up.
I think Jim Henson was a very good director. The Dark Crystal and Great Muppet Caper are both spectacular films.
However, there's one exception. He didn't understand why Labyrinth didn't work. There's an easy answer for it - no real sense of jeopardy. We never really care about Toby. Sure...
