The Unabashed Worst Muppet Merchandise Ever

Why would you assume someone with a navel ring would be a Muppet hater? They are marketing the Muppets to a wide range of fans.

    Sesame Street for Adults?

I'm not sure if you read Greg's post in its entirety, but this show is not Sesame Street related in any way. I don't see what I was wrong about. Don't exactly get why you think I’m supposedly wrong "again" or the need to be argumentative. The picture and idea that Ernie and Bert are going to...

    VH1 200 Pop Icons - Kermit and Piggy #60

They didn't really talk about Jim Henson and that disturbed me, but I enjoyed the clips. :)

    New movies coming out...

Atkinson is like our generation's Chaplin in my eyes. Wish he had more popularity in the US. I don't think Hollywood knows what to do with him. I was disappointed in the Bean film, but it had some good moments. They shouldn't mess with his forumula by adding cheesy elements. Just let the guy do...

    Trust me, it's a joke.

    Countdown on Dateline

I finally saw the Kermit part on VH1. They showed the action figures too! The Piggy was the original proto with the pink boa. There were some good clips, but they ended it with the wedding. This is why everyone thinks they're actually married. I was disappointed that Jim Henson wasn't really...

    Countdown on Dateline

Mister Rogers is listed at number 148. I'm not so sure about Kenny Rogers (I'd definitely put him in the top 500 list), but Star Wars should have definitely been represented. This list is about icons and not about influencial people or films, but Yoda could easily be the representitive icon for...

The Unabashed Worst Muppet Merchandise Ever

I don't see the big deal. They aren't very interesting looking, but that's the only criticism I have. Even squares and preppies have piercings these days. (I don't but that's a personal choice.) It's just jewelry. Muppet sugar cookies are worse for the public than navel rings. And what's up...

Ten Favorite Muppet Products of All Time

LOL! I always brought a beautiful girl to school functions to the shock of my school mates. However none of them could measure up to Miss Piggy. (Had to say that in case she's listening)

So do you think Muppet Babies will ever get a DVD release?

I really do think the Muppet Babies will return to the mainstream (not that I'm jumping up and down about it). I just hope Henson makes certain to keep backing classic Muppet characters. I can see Best of the Muppet Babies DVDs released, but not full series sets. They haven't even done that...

    New movies coming out...

I think many people are expecitnk Johnny English to be an Austin Powers rip-off, but Atkins' humor is much smarter. He's kind of like Woody Allen in the way that you either really like his stuff or you don't. (of course there's nothing similar about their style)

Ten Favorite Muppet Products of All Time

LOL! That's still three puppet. You crack me up, Warrick. I love those old FP puppets too. They have yet to make a Piggy that good - either in figure, doll or bust form. I remember taking it to my first day of school as a kid. :) Yes, we know that I'm strange.

    New movies coming out...

This Peter Pan film is all unknowns. The reason why the characters resemble the actors in Hook is simply because they are story accurate. I am excited about this film. Looks interesting. I didn't like Hook at all, but this one seems more like a good telling of the story than a director/actor ego...

    Figures broken in packaging

I have sent back figures broken in transit from EB Online. It was a poorly packed Bunsen. It's best to catch these things right away. If you buy them in the store you shouldn't take more than a day or two to return it. Looks suspicious otherwise. I have passed up figures in the stores because of...

Ten Favorite Muppet Products of All Time

It makes for a better list to cite your favorite soundtrack and favorite Fisher Price plush instead of citing the entire line. Just makes it more interesting. I could have put all the Palisades figures at number one, but listed Gonzo as my favorite. The Kitchen set almost made the list, but if...

Koozebane Kermit Arrives: When and Where

 Is it just me or does the green look brighter on ol' Kermit? I kind of like it, but it could just be the lighting. :)

    New movies coming out...

Heck, half of the films I see these days are on my own. I work from home and live next door to an AMC multiplex so films are usually a reward for a hard morning's work. Sometimes it's best to see films that way although it's always more special to see stuff with friends. :)

    New movies coming out...

Pirates will be out for a while. Other films won't. So I'm waiting for the crowds to die down. Want to see it, but it's not a top priority. Probably next week. :)

    Muppets in their off hours!

Check out the bit at Palisades. Seems the Muppets aren't just sailing in a videogame. Muppets deserve vacations too! :concern:  :sing:  :zany: http://www.palisadestoys.com/new/whatsnew/index.php?PHPSESSID=16af27bb74f204685a1e1f013792080c

The last two busts have been revealed.

Which ones did you buy? Curious. I think the real Piggy bust is somewhere in the middle of the two. The new one just doesn't have that spark. The first one is so alive. And even though I like the purple, she actually looks better with the red coloring. It warms her up. Wonder if there's a color...
