    New movies coming out...

Now that is funny! Too bad about that film. Could have been something. I guess when something's dead it's really dead.

    Sideshow's Wave 5: Officially Unveiled!

Sideshow's Wave 5: Officially Unveiled! (scroll down to look at the individual pictures) I have been critical of the new Piggy and I still am, but the rest are rather impressive! Animal is very pink, but hopefully that will be corrected. Either way he looks great. The same with Teeth, although...

Pictures from Its a Very Merry Muppet Christmas

Sam looks great, but he's wearing a toupee (hair piece). It was a joke from the show. You really need to see it. :attitude:

    Hey - Cool Find!

I'm not certain if you are aware of the Palisades Toys thread, but these figures have been out for over a year. You can still find many of them in stores or online. That's a darn good price for the lot, though. Maybe that's what you're talking about. Just making sure. ;)

Why we need a Muppeteer as California Governor!

I think this recall sets a bad standard, but I don't like our Gov either. Such is the way of politics. Right wingers, liberals, they're all pretty much shmoes these days. Maybe a Muppeteer is just what we need. We should form a Muppet party, but if we start talking party, people around here...

Pictures from Its a Very Merry Muppet Christmas

Actually, Mr Penguin said fairy, not fariy. You may also have seen it spelled faerie. This comes from the special (which this thread it named after) that you haven't seen yet. Robin also appeared as the green fairy in one of our Christmas menus last year.

    Harry Potter Film News (Spoilers)

I thought that was confirmed in a Yahoo article last month. Seems like a good choice.

    Starbucks finger puppets

The two new ones are Miss Piggy and the Swedish Chef. I haven't heard of a Bunsen one.

    Telly attacked at Sesame Place

What's up with that? I think anyone convicted of assalting a costumed character should be glued into one of the costumes on a hot summer day. And they should put a Kick Me sign on his back. That'll teach him! :attitude: :grouchy:

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Wasn't that stated over at Palisades? Ken posted a listing of what projects were tied to each figure. It's all tentative, but I remember MTI, TMS and another show mentioned.

    Ask Ken at Palisades

All I remember is that Benjamina was published in a tentative list a loooong time ago. I think it was for series 7. I don't think she's still in it because it would be too close to the Swinetrek, but I could be wrong. That Piggy would be a cool one to have, but she and Fozzie aren't really...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Kermit has been mentioned, so has Rizzo and Gonzo. Benjamina was also proposed in the line-up but has since been scrapped. Don't know the status. Those would be safe bets.

    Sad news in the UK...

This last article is still vague. Who's writing these things, Muppet monkeys? They start off with a specific title then recycle old information that we already know and barely touch upon the meat the title suggests. I hope the UK Creature Shop remains open, but there is no need for the licensors...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Puppet Jim only made it into a few episodes of the Muppet Show. He is a simple country banjo pickin' Muppet with kind of a quiet pensive demeanor. He was not jolly and I don't remember him ever being given happy expressions. Those who are familiar the puppet knows that it's spot on. This figure...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

I'm not certain if you are familiar with the the Jim puppet, but this is an exact replica. It is what Ken has talked about since he released the info. There was never to be a "realistic" depiction of Jim Henson. The puppet didn't have a smile either. Actually, it would probably look goofy if he...

    New movies coming out...

Nemo is now at nearly 320M and still in the top ten since its debut in May! Who bets it will pass the $329M Forrest Gump slot at number 8 All time Box Office take? It makes me happy when good movies are recognzed. This is certainly one of them. It already passed what the Lion King initially made...

Did American TV still show 'old' muppets?

Where are you getting these quotes? Are they real? They seem to have come from the same person. Still don't quite know what you are talking about. There will be two more Muppet (Show) specials. There may also be a future Muppet television program in the works. Also, with the release...

New Muppets Baby Dolls (I think)

Muppet puppets cost thousands of dollars and quite a bit of time to make. There's no way they can replicate that in mass production. The materials used in the Muppets are rather fragile. No way they could all pass muster with QC inspections for a commercial product. They have to be child safe...
