Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
At least it's airing in this country around the same time as everyone else, even though it's a American/French co-production using a Japanese franchise.
Something tells me that new preteen Dora show eliminates the whole asking questions to the viewers bit. If so, that makes it a vast improvement in my eyes.
That Marvin TV special had some nice animation from the same studio as the Berenstain Bears cartoon from that decade, particularly with cousin Megan's gymnastics routine, and even a nice little commentary on child pageants years before JonBenet Ramsey and a certain redneck girl gave them...
That's easy: every letter at the end is in alphabetical order.
Here's another:
500 begins it, 500 ends it,
5 in the middle is seen.
The first of all letters, and the first of all people,
take their places in between.
Combine all of these letters to form
the name of a famous king.
I also forgot about Foxtrot. There's a lot of nerdy humor in that strip that would give it a strong audience, and a lot of visual humor that would really work well in animated form.
Not to mention heavily meddled with by executives. They pretty much forced a teenage babysitter character and a Simpsons-esque dysfunctional family in there, and focusing so much on the latter that the show might as well have been named after them instead. The show was almost about to be...

- Calvin & Hobbes (if only Bill Watterson didn't have such a big stick up his butt when it comes to tasteful licensing, then this would be an obvious choice.)
- Baby Blues...
As long as this isn't a full-fledged Muppet preschool series using Kermit and the gang, and as long as it's solidly written with plenty of wit to it, and as long as it doesn't have the characters asking questions to kids loudly and slowly, then this won't be such a bad move.
Hopefully, this...
The first episode premiered, and it's pretty promising. The humor style is very Harvey Birdman-esque (no pun intended) with all its heavy dialogue and surrealism. I'm especially liking the wisecracking Norm MacDonald-voiced pigeon.
Nice to see Warner Animation doing something for Adult Swim...
So, is Tim Curry retiring or something? I know about his recent stroke, and the fact that his characters from Rescue Bots and Randy Cunningham have been recast. If this is true, it will be sad, but understandable.
It's just when people boycotted Chick-Fil-A restaurants over the whole Henson fiasco. The majority of those are actually franchised, which means boycotting them would really only hurt the local owners and operators. I feel someone should have called out Sue Ellen for her blunder.
But it's a...
After watching the episode "Sue Ellen Chickens Out", I got to thinking, why didn't Sue Ellen and the others just convince Carl the proprietor not to sell the Sugar Bowl? I felt that could have made a better conflict rather than attacking the Chicken Lickin' people simply for being a big bad...
