    Songs You Can't Stand

To the point that more people remember their videos, but not their music.

So It's Come to This: A Clip Show Thread

Phineas & Ferb had a pretty entertaining clip show counting down the top 10 musical numbers as chosen by viewers. I found the hosting segments with Major Monogram and Dr. Doofenshmirtz highly enjoyable.

    The Sonic Boom Thread

This was a pretty good show. The setting feels very SatAM with its use of treehouses and huts a la Knothole, but the wackier tone feels more at home with Adventures. Sticks isn't a bad character either, her paranoia nicely balancing out Amy's level-headedness.

    Songs You Can't Stand

A shame, too. Like I said before, digital media shouldn't have to be the end-all be-all, as it comes with its own host of problems.

    Over the Garden Wall impressions

The penultimate episode had a great twist to it, so there are spoilers ahead (I can't get the dang text to change colors for some reason )! The boys were from the modern day (or at least the 1980s going by the boxy car designs and Wirt's use of cassettes) and their clothes...

    New Pixar Movie Previews

And at least Disney isn't forcing these sequels on Pixar. It was all Pixar's decision, which I can respect a little more.

    New Pixar Movie Previews

The 3rd Toy Story ended on such a high note and rode off beautifully into the sunset. How can Pixar top that now? That's why the shorts and specials work: they aren't trying to be overly ambitious in plot. There's still plenty of time for someone at the studio to reconsider this and swiftly...

The Worst CGI Kid Films In Recent Memory

They must be using the old "it's for kids" excuse.

    When you need to rant...

Now that Republicans own the Senate, I fear for all the progress we've made when it comes to stuff like same-sex marriage (which has recently been legalized in my state). Though most voters here voted against giving salary raises to local lawmakers, so there's at least one positive here.

    Over the Garden Wall impressions

The style of the boys looks a lot like Animal Crossing, Greg (the younger one) especially.

    Arthur Voice Comparisons

Reminds me of how the original voice for Arnold on Hey Arnold, Toran Caudell, would end up voicing Torvald, a kid who was held back due to bad grades.

    Arthur Voice Comparisons

I've noticed how well the VAs matched up with each other until Cameron Ansell came along.

    Questions about anything

So, the Teletubbies are getting a revival now, with Teletubbyland taking place on a replica model set as the countryside where the original took place had a pond put in by the new owners to keep fans from trespassing. Who exactly was asking for this to happen...

I was thinking more Foodfight, actually.

    Over the Garden Wall impressions

This is a new Cartoon Network miniseries created by former Flapjack and Adventure Time writer Patrick McHale about two brothers trying to find their way home through a mysterious and creepy forest. It's an interesting little series with its Studio Ghibli-esque tone and the humorous dynamic...

Mike Tyson gets ironic Adult Swim show

I like how Stephen Root voiced the founder of IBM in the latest episode. That guy can make anything sound funny with that hillbilly voice of his. :)

    Questions about anything

The same way "Frosty the Snowman" and, worse, "Baby It's Cold Outside" are considered Christmas classics.

    When you need to rant...

At least that's a nice, non-obnoxious song that still fits the birthday theme. :)

    The Rowdy Reviewer thread

I watched the latest episode in which Rowdy reviewed both of Filmation's Ghostbusters series, and I feel that the insanity of the series works better in animated form since animation offers a lot more possibilities. And as for that Rainbow Brite reboot he reacted to in the end... ugh, does it...

    When you need to rant...

And they can't even sing the actual Happy Birthday song, as singing it at a restaurant with a significant amount of people would count as a public performance, forcing them to pay the copyright holders a buttload of money.
