I like this set, feeling old-school in some ways like with Hooper's Store feeling more like a lunch counter again and more modern in others with the community center and Abby's garden. I agree with others that Big Bird could use some privacy with a nice new set of doors, though.
Remember when the original London Bridge was located in London? Apparently after it went falling down, it was sold and relocated to Lake Havasu City in Arizona, of all places.

I recently applied online for a stocking job at Petco that requires no experience. Here's to the best of luck that they approve my application and schedule an interview. :concern: I previously applied for a job at Goodwill but they turned me down, probably because my resumé sucked, but I was...
Great to see Home holding its own at the box office, already having a bigger domestic open than their past few movies (8th highest so far) and making more than most of their recent releases since Rise of the Guardians (currently at the #18 spot). It's close to breaking even now...
I don't know how they were able to get that grainy, washed-out, distorted, splice-filled look to the latest episode to make it look like a real golden age cartoon. Did they do it digitally or use real analog film stock? Either way, it's pretty darned impressive. :)
It was great seeing some extra backstory from Greg, along with the younger versions of the Crystal Gems. Seems like Amethyst really would seduce him later on down the line, too.
Now YT will be offering users the option to watch videos ad-free for a monthly fee. Don't they already do that for free with adblockers? Will YT will start to become immune to them in the future?
Looks like I'm not the only one who thinks geese are the most evil birds in the avian universe. I'd sooner befriend an ostrich or even a cassowary (you know, those flightless birds that can disembowel people with a single kick) than a goose. :concern:
Remember when the Fix-It Shop became the Mail-It Shop, and then went back to the Fix-It Shop after a few years? Whose to say that these changes won't be permanent as well?
Freberg should also be remembered for his commercials, which helped turn advertising from a boring, straightforward affair into something intentionally humorous, a very bold thing during the 1960s. One notable one was for Chun King Chow Mein which stated that "9 out of 10 doctors approved", and...
I agree with you completely. This new show should be more of its own thing, rather than trying to capture the lightning in a bottle of The Muppet Show.
I could even see Statler & Waldorf being in the live studio audience during taping, heckling the actors in between commercial breaks. Works...
Also helps that there's "less fart, more heart", according to the writers. Toilet humor has been toned down a bit in the 2nd season to focus more on the characterization, which I enjoy.
I really enjoyed the latest episode. Clarence and Sumo get suspended and manage to learn all sorts of things from other people that they couldn't otherwise in school, and put that to really good use. It's a nice twist on the usual "kid gets suspended or plays hooky and bad things happen to...
F&F is so freaking overrated, and spawned that horrible fad of "rice rocket" cars with those obnoxious farting exhausts. But you gotta hand it to the amount of money it made, which Universal would no doubt try to get some more of that sweet cash by rebooting the series in the future.
I really enjoyed this series, too. I'd like to see more episodes of Harvey and the twins hanging out with the other kids as an ensemble. The bunny who has a strange obsession with Harvey intrigues me the most.
The imp twins are starting to become my favorite characters. Like their mythical...
