I also like the lispy Mad Hatter-esque voice that Mister D was provided with in the show. Seems more fitting for a dude downright deranged delivering his deep-fried delights like a drug dealer. :D
Yeah, Bordertown is unremarkable considering one of the writers is the creator of a political satire comic strip I like. Seems like both the whites and Latinos are portrayed as nothing but one-dimensional strawmen.
Also, the "deportation cannon" as shown here was done similarly in an episode of...
Hey, better that than Planes. :D
The James Cameron movie at least has a lot of love put into the sets, effects, and historical accuracy. There's none of that to be found in the animated movies.
Anyone else find it a bit unfair that some mission pack sequel of a musical comedy that didn't do very well before beat out a well-meaning new entry in a beloved post-apocalyptic action series?

I loved how Jeff turned detention into a nightclub after all those hidden toys were unlocked just to get popular with the girls (and after abandoning his hall monitor duties to avoid looking like a killjoy) only for it all to backfire on him horribly. Loved all those references to old toys, too.
Don't know where else to put this without making a new thread, but thank you, Cracked, for making me appreciate all the time and labor that goes into traditional animation. :)

I liked how The Goldbergs ended its 2nd season. Like Galavant, it gave the show just enough closure with along with the montage of home video clips juxtaposed with their TV re-enactments, yet still left things open for another season.
That Jem movie feels very generic, like a proposed Hannah Montana movie script with a brand name slapped on it. It could have been called anything else and tween girls would still eat it up if they could.
Also, those who were worried about the Muppet Moments interstitials diluting (or further diluting) the public perception of the franchise should worry no more about this show. It's not for kids so much as "kids can watch it".
I see that the distributors continue the ploy of renaming the movie to cash in on the release of bigger upcoming movies. In this case, Dino Time being renamed to cash in on Jurassic World.
I liked what I saw so far. It's not a retread of TMS or anything like that, but it's own thing, with only the out-of-character backstage stuff being reminiscent of it. I also like how there's a chance of obscure characters making their way back.
Seems like Repeat After Me is gone, and there's...
Great to see Age of Ultron staying at the top last week. Hot Pursuit snagged a distant 2nd, followed by Adaline.

The concurrent two-part episode about the comet was really sweet, especially the second one. Part 1 has Harvey, his dad, and the other boys go on a hike for the comet only for it to turn into disaster as Mr. Beaks suffers a concussion. I liked how the boys other than Harvey and Foo ditched them...
