More annoyingly, they're rerunning episodes from this last season. I don't think this is half the mistake we think it is. It seems clearly intentional. The HBO money keeps becoming better thing with each reveal.
Though they must be really desperate to use a full frame episode.
What I'm talking about, hopefully, is a small selection of episodes that haven't been released on those platforms. Sort of a "Sesame Upaved" type deal. Though it would be kinda sucky if they were those already released episodes, I agree. Thing is, those episodes will probably disappear from...
It's Christmastime Again is a very strange special. It's one of the first culled from old strips (while Sparky was still alive, unlike recent ones which are pretty much obligated to) and elements of the episode were already animated in the Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show. But it has a strange...
I actually did like how it played out. It somehow felt like it could have been a plotline of an episode of the original show with Scooter having a crush and being too nervous about it. I sort of got vibes of the MT episode with Bobo and Cindy Crawford here (one of the best episodes of the...
I'm loving that there's more merchandise of this version of the character. There's a Christmas ornament from the French cartoon where he's on a Vespa and holding baguettes. Might just pick that one up.
Last Man on Earth is a brilliant show starring brilliant comedians and whatever the heck is taking Brooklyn 99's time slot sounds just...awful. I mean, yeah... Bordertown. That's a show that Seth MacFarline's got like some very obscure producer credit, but he'll be credited with the whole...
Waitwaitwait....
That speaks proof that the HBO thing was last minute, yet completely necessary. They finally had a season with all new episodes only to cheap out and rerun more reruns. WOW. Their profit margin must've been razor thin to have to cut the show into half and reuse old episodes...
I liked this episode okay, but the problem with it for me was the perspective.
Had this been the fifth or sixth episode or something, I'd feel this was an overall improvement. Comparing it to the first 4 episodes, it's actually quite good. But this is coming after three of the increasingly...
I read the headline of another review that complained about it being dull, and I find that much worse. Slow pacing is what made this movie good, and not the spastic fart and poop humor most of these things are subject to. I agree with D*Snowth's complaints about the Chipmunks movie. Spastic...
First off, I don't get why Bristol is a bastion of morality. It's like, oh, she didn't get an abortion. That's a freaking low bar if I ever heard one.
But I was trying to stay out of this for a while, but with his latest addition of Islamophobia, he just keeps crawling under my skin. His SNL...
I've noticed the least toxic relationship he has with any of the other human characters are from Linus, and Peppermint Patty's crew. I've always been confused by the fact that there's at least 3 people (and a dog) that like him a lot, and it feels like he focuses on those who either have a...
Oh, and it appears that the half hour version has replaced the full hour version, as I said to someone on another thread. But at the same time, they removed the second showing of the show (again, my affiliate, yours may vary wildly).
Since you're obviously not as caught up on the news as we were, the half hour version of the series is the unfortunate future. It looks like my PBS has started the half hour version of the show, and dropped the afternoon showing of the half hour version as well.
New episode of the show will...
I just hope they aren't cocky to think they'll get a third season and throw another obnoxious complication in the last episode to turn it into a cliffhanger. They were lucky as heck to get a second season, and hopefully they won't make the same mistake they made with the other show.
I am...
Pfft. My PBS affiliate moves the time slot for Arthur all the time! And the affiliate is the producer of the show. They didn't even get back the afternoon slot until the last season started up.
Marcie being shy and subtle drops hints once in a while. Pep is usually the one who's more forward with it. I can't remember specific examples except for the rare special "A Charlie Brown Celebration" where Chuck is in the hospital and visiting hours are over and Pep and Marcie have to yell...
That's the next non-Minion related thing from Illumitoon studios and Universal, isn't it?
Can't say I even know much about the project to make a real decision to like it or not. Don't even think I saw a trailer yet. Illumitoon is pretty much touch and go. Other than the Despicable Me/Minions...
I really don't think the reason was it was too advanced as it was to compete for relevance with the shiny new guy in a suit on the block, but essentially yeah. And of course, they lost a boatload of characters with Jim and Richard gone. I'm glad they're not using buzzwords, but they're using a...
