    We Bare Bears

I always love when someone is blessed with good luck but doesn't want it. Case in point: the bears and the evil jean jacket from the dumpster.

The Amazing World of Gumball Thread

I got strong Daria vibes from Clare Cooper for some reason.

    The Clarence thread

I really like how Clarence enjoys spending time with Jeff just as much as Sumo, despite being more boring. It's like he knows how much they all need one another. :)

    Uncle Grandpa

I love how in "Uncle Grandpa Babies", instead of using a "generic president to keep the show from becoming dated", they made him Ronald Reagan, making the show already way dated. :)

    When you need to rant...

It's crap like that that gives kids more of a reason to coop themselves up in their room with their video games all day, if they haven't already.

The Worst CGI Kid Films In Recent Memory

I'm glad Rainmaker's coming back with a new ReBoot sequel series. There was a serious lack of closure from the original that I hope this new series will resolve. Not to mention, they were very close to butchering Princess Mononoke along with other Ghibli movies until Hayao Miyazaki put his...

If so, then good riddance to that.

    Questions about anything

I've caught a few episodes of the Nick Jr. series PAW Patrol, and it's a really solid show with a good deal of sly humor and none of that Dora-style interactivity (always a plus). But one of the things that bug me are that the puppies are the only animals in the show that talk and have human...

Wait a Minute... "DreamWorks' Dragons"? What?

I think DW made the right call by scrapping initial plans for a Dinotrux film and making it a web series instead. A concept like this works better as such.

Wait a Minute... "DreamWorks' Dragons"? What?

Their newest show Dinotrux is surprisingly really good. It's got that preschool boy appeal with dinosaurs crossed with construction equipment, though written a lot more maturely than it comes across, so it could be considered a post-preschool show like with Rescue Bots.

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

Straight Outta Compton is a straight-out hit, and is winning over the critics, too. Meanwhile, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is trailing at a distant 3rd. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?yr=2015&wknd=33&p=.htm

West Nile, Swine Flu, Meningitis, and Sequelitis

Though it won't be a direct sequel to Big Adventure, but rather an entirely new movie.

West Nile, Swine Flu, Meningitis, and Sequelitis

Only 2 of Universal Animation's productions (Tales of Desperaux, 2011's The Little Engine That Could) have been all-CG, and even then those were co-productions. The latter was probably super cheap to make as Crest Animation is based in India, and they probably offer a lot of tax incentives for...

    New Pixar Movie Previews

Even though a half-hour Valentines special on TV would be a better fit for TS4, I also don't see how it would work as a feature film. Maybe make it an anthology like Pulp Fiction, with multiple parts focusing on different characters?

And of course, they just had to squeeze a Big Lebowski reference in there with Jeff as the Jesus.

    We Bare Bears

It was really funny seeing Panpan and Ice lose it (and I mean really lose it) after spending a some time in the wild at the behest of Grizz, who was worried that he and his brothers were too disconnected from nature after seeing a preroll ad about a survivalist show. This makes me wonder: have...

Sesame Street shrinks to 30 minutes, new shows will premiere on HBO and PBS nine months later

Eliminating the full-hour version is indeed disheartening, but to be fair, the show in recent years might as well have been called Sesame Street Presents: The Sesame Street Programming Block Extravaganza Starring Elmo and Abby. And the premieres on HBO are just as baffling. It's bad enough they...

    The Rick and Morty thread

This show is very brilliant with all these crazy sci-fi concepts, and Unity was no exception. Taking the worst of humankind who have no desire to change their ways and assimilating them on another planet? Seems a lot more reasonable than the death penalty, that's for sure. It was also great to...

Star Butterfly Vs. The Forces of Evil Thread

We finally get to see St. Olga's School that Star is mortified by, and what a brutal slaughtering of the Disney Princess franchise it was with all the free-spirited princesses forced to do things like being taught to be damsels in distress and learning how to drink tea properly. And the dean...
