The same month that was kind to Guardians wasn't kind to Fantastic Four, while Mission: Impossible took in a nice big chunk of cash in its 2nd week.

We may have known about the origins of Splinter and Shredder in past episodes, but "Tale of the Yokai" is the first time the Turtles got to see those events unfold. And had to save their own future along with it.
Am I the only one who noticed that the animation on a couple of the episodes, including the one from yesterday, looked a little stiffer than usual, as if it were done in Flash? I looked at the credits and saw that it (along with ep. 1) was outsourced to a Mexican company called Ánima Estudios...
"The Parkie Awards" really shows how much Mordecai and Rigby's relationship with Benson has changed after all these years. They genuinely felt that he deserved that award, something that would have been unthinkable in the early years of the show, and especially considering how Gene treats his...
Oh yeah, I forgot about the Williams siblings in the G1 series, which had two girls and a boy (voiced by a young Scott Menville) who seemed to like the ponies as much as his sisters. Pretty progressive, I must say! :)
If there's one character I'm hoping to see return, it's Amy the tomboy. Since she most likely moved to a different town, maybe they can do something completely different and focus a whole episode on her with none of the main characters appearing.
And kept in their own magical fantasy world, too, unlike with the first two live-action Smurfs films. If there's one thing that I'm really glad for this, it's that it won't be like one of those movies.
No different from the show with John de Lancie or Weird Al doing voices, and at least they're using a celeb with a musical and acting background. Not to mention, she has a connection to the Muppets in that she was Mrs. Noodle. And I wonder if Discord will still have a major role in the...
"Burrito" reminded me a lot of the SpongeBob episode "To Love a Patty" in that Griz falls in love with a giant burrito he ordered as part of a restaurant challenge and treats it like a person, only done better because his brothers call him out for his obsession and that he didn't have to eat the...
Linkara is a big fan of Power Rangers, and I recommend looking at his "History of Power Rangers" retrospective. Currently, he's at RPM.
He also looked at the 5-episode Green Ranger arc from Kyoryuu Sentai Zyuranger, where MMPR was adapted from. It's worth a look, especially how he compares it...
Loved how they made fun of pen-and-paper RPGs in last night's episode, and that Weird Al fittingly voiced the Probabilitor. I also enjoyed how Grunkle Ford was just as big a geek as Dipper, and it was nice to see the two bond over something as geeky like that.
Also, I also loved the subplot...
I didn't grow up with the '80s Chipmunks series, but I must say, this was a really good, funny revival. I liked the plot with Alvin and Simon trying to get Theodore to get rid of his Talking Teddy doll long after he grew out of it, only for Alvin to use it to take advantage of him and later have...
I enjoyed yesterday's episode a lot more than I should have. Fart jokes were utilized in a more tasteful way with Pig needing them for self-defense, and Goat's fear of Thomas Jefferson leaping out of nickels not only got a nice comedic payoff, but contributed to the plot in the end. If only...
I loved how slice-of-life yesterday's episode was, with the Bears unable to have a normal day even at home. Griz tries to befriend a couple of Frisbee players, PanPan gets his online social life destroyed by a mouse, and Ice uses his tech skills to soup up a bland name Roomba. And all three...
There was. First was a Christmas special called The Bestest Present that first aired on HBO in 1985. Then there were six specials in 1992 produced for CTV. And finally, there was a 16-episode Teletoon series from 2000 in which three different storylines from three different eras of the strip...
