TV Tropes also unveiled its redesign that was fully funded through Kickstarter. It's not bad, though it runs a little slower than the previous. Must be from all those ads. :boo:
And a feature that allows you to hide an ad with a click of a link below. One website I frequent has this function...
I've gone through the five stages of grief over Gravity Falls.
Denial: "What?! This show can't be ending! :boo:"
Anger: "I hate that this show is ending all of a sudden!"
Bargaining: "What can we do to get this show back?"
Depression: "WAAAAAAHHH!!! It's all over for real...
John K. loves to stay off-model with his animation as well, as he doesn't like to use model sheets. The only time he was forced to stay on-model was with Fox Kids' The Ripping Friends as it had to be done on a fraction of the budget compared to Ren & Stimpy. So I'm guessing Feiss had to stay...
The meatball sub gag was something else. Why break in using a logical scheme when you can just do something totally nonsensical? And it totally could have worked had the PotP not been on a diet. :)
I really enjoyed how Pig was trying to make up for destroying Angry Old Raisin's life by doing all these good deeds for him only for them to backfire horribly, and for him to finally forgive him in the end thanks to Cricket's Baby Maker making him young again. The constant foreshadowing cries of...
"The Black Hole" was a great episode showing Wander's descent into boredom, madness, and hunger as he is forced to keep his finger in the black hole. Also loved seeing Hater take advantage of that and being an a-hole to him, as he's good at doing.
I'm disappointed that while Jeep referenced its cars being used in The Terminator and Jurassic Park as well as its contribution in the military, never once did it bring up its importance to the U.S. Postal Service with its Dispatchers. Kind of a d!¢k move, if you ask me.
I'd say I enjoyed the...
Seems like they're going with a three shorts format with the new season, which is a welcoming change that keeps things from dragging, though I'm disappointed that all three for the premiere used the "house" scenario rather than alternating between that and the other three. Hopefully they haven't...
I loved how we got to see Rooter's family and how their breed of paranoia is contagious, especially to Harvey and his dad. Loved how their bunker was loaded with all those booby traps, too.
And Belsonball is obviously this show's version of Calvinball. And I love how even the faculty enjoy watching this popular pastime that has been going on for a while.
I also find it funny that they follow Daylight Savings despite living in Arizona where they don't follow it in real life. :)
You know, I really liked one of the past episodes where Eddie slept over at one of his friends' house because his mother was really lax and more like a best friend to him, farting on him and engaging in screaming matches every time she tries to tell him what to do, and that made Eddie realize...
Weird Al's really been on a voice-acting kick lately, and I'm very happy with that.
Not much to go on regarding the series itself, but since Dan & Swampy are involved, it sounds like it's going to be good like most of Disney's current animated shows. :)
Gotta love how that Asian-American center was mostly full of those who weren't East Asian, including South Asians, Central Asians, and white Americans who were born in Asian countries. A couple of them even got "Chinese" tattoos that just spelled out gibberish, which is a very real phenomenon in...
Looks like the Fine Bros. completely backpedaled in their attempt to trademark and franchise their "React" series after the huge outrage they created across the Net, but I'd say this chance to mend bridges with their fans was too little too late.
And YT has officially forced me to use their...
