I don't think that Ben-Hur remake is going to succeed, even though there are almost exclusively practical effects being used, which I greatly commend the director for using. Those last couple of Ancient Grome movies released in years past haven't been the biggest of hits with moviegoers.
I hope...
New episodes have begun showing, and you just gotta love how irrationally the Wattersons behaved around a homesick Darwin rather than talk about his problem.
Now there's this controversy over a 12-year-old girl and her dad hunting animals in Africa, even though they're doing it legally to species of least concern like giraffes and zebras, and their meat even went toward feeding orphans in local villages. Props to the girl and her dad for defending...
Here's the latest trailer, which shows off a factory level reminiscent of Clanker's Cavern or Rusty Bucket Bay from Banjo-Kazooie. The game has also been delayed to the 1st quarter of next year, which hopefully means that it will also be a launch title for the Nintendo NX, which is coming out in...
Has anyone else heard of Supernoobs, Scott Fellows' successor to Johnny Test? Even though it's not a great show as a whole, comparatively it's a lot better than JT. The concept feels stronger, the pacing less spastic, the animation more fluid, and those incessant whip crack sounds practically...
We all know by now that a third SpongeBob movie is in development, much to the chagrin of a certain someone on this board (;)), but what we probably didn't know is that John K. and much of his original team will be producing a new Ren & Stimpy short that will precede it...
I really liked yesterday's episode with Star and Marco taking care of Buff Frog's tadpoles while he went out on a mission, but the concurrent episode paired with it that focused on Buff Frog trying to complete said mission with his evil buddies all the while trying to hide the fact that he's a...
It's cool that Shinigami is a character created just for the Nick series, but she really feels like she came out of the Mirage comics to me. Also, Karai has taken Shredder's name like she did in the 4Kids series, but here she's doing so to get revenge on him.
Supposedly Toho's newest Godzilla movie due out by the end of this year in the U.S. uses a combination of animatronics and suit work with motion-captured CGI. Would have loved to see the American movies use that. :sigh:
Being a Canadian co-production, it was real cheap to produce due to all the tax write-offs the production got. Great news for R-rated animation as a whole, but I'd much rather see more animated dramas get made, like A Scanner Darkly.
Very sad to hear that he succumbed to an illness that I didn't know about, but it's nice that he was able to reunite with the rest of the Star Wars cast one last time. Hopefully he buried the hatchet with Anthony Daniels in that time.
"Know Your Fusion" was a great breather episode. Pearl and Garnet want to know about how Smoky Quartz came to be and its abilities, so they form Sardonyx and test out her abilities. I love all the fourth wall breaking and the reference to how they needn't worry about getting Nicki Minaj back to...
Great to know that Wander was re-incarnated as a cowardly leopard. And he was used to deliver a lesson in self-confidence against a fellow leopard who takes advantage of this.
In the episode where Brittany gets a suck toad attached to Brittany's face, didn't the New Zealand specialist who was supposed to treat her sound an awful lot like Rhys Darby?
