:shifty: When looking at the Disney site and what they choose to promote it's this Disney Channel kids product, not so much Mickey and the gang. Don't get me wrong. I disagree with that, but that is their choice and the fact they're choosing to connect them to the Muppets shows a level of...
Hmmm. Has this replaced the ad-bumpers about technology that were set to feature the Muppets and the Disney kids?
I just walked through San Francisco's Civic Center area - the epicenter of Pride weekend and Kermit's blue outfit would even be out of place there! Eeek! It reminds me of when...
Didn't she provide some recent interview on the last Fraggle Rock DVD release? That would have and seems to have been taped in the last couple of years. I don't think she's missing. A missing Muppeteer would have made the papers. :o
It appears Disney is going forward with reintroducing the Muppets to a younger audience using their Disney Channel stars. I'm not a big fan of these stars or programs, but I do think it is a good idea and will be great for the upcoming film.
Also, I noticed in addition to the Kermit, Miss...
A- From the Frogboy
:search: My new personal preference of Pixar films is as follows:
The Incredibles (A+), Ratatouille (A), WALL-E (A-), Finding Nemo (A-), Monsters, Inc. (B), Toy Story 2 (B), Toy Story (B-), A Bug's Life (C).
:flirt: So yes, I loved Wall-E! I just liked Brad Bird's...
:attitude: Muppet Central’s Independence Day Menu :super:
Fade in: on a skyline framed with San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge rising from the left connecting to Manhattan’s Brooklyn Bridge descending on the right. Tracers of light stream by on the busy bridge as commuters make their way to...
:attitude: OMG! That's great and definitely new.
Some of the joke gets lost with the inclusion of Bobo because he can actually speak clearly. But I liked his "Bum, bum, bums" throughout the song. Great stuff! And Crazy Harry - explosions! The Muppets are back and pulling no punches. Cookie...
To be honest I was never totally sold on the original Toy Story film as a whole but it has some moments and I have always respected its achievement and place in animation history. Bug's Life seemed incongruent to me as well (but still beautiful, of course). So I guess that's the one real...
Yup. That's a nod to Ken Lilly of Palisades Toys and Creatus Maximus. Connecting with fans can be tricky and some fans will never be satisfied, but it takes guts to put a little of yourself out there and see how fans react. I don't see it as focus-group testing. On the contrary, I see it as...
I agree with that. If it were 25% off or more I'd be concerned, but it appears to be an average sale to me. MRs prices are sometimes more inflated than other companies selling their items. Also maybe they're looking to see if a slightly decreased price point increases sales. :)
I agree. It was my intention to get it back on track. Does Jason Segel have some sort of blog like Fraggle film director Corey Edwards does? Man, that guy is so "Ken-ning" it with the fans. It's pretty cool. Segel does make a lot of press statments. It's nice that we aren't kept so much in the...
For my partner Ian's sake I hope the PS3 does grow and take-off like Sony claims. He's so heavily invested in the system and it's hard to pry him away from it!
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Heavenly Sword, Folklore and Resistance are all quality PS3 exclusives that I've seen...
I have hopes for PS3
My partner has a PS3 and loves it. The real issue, as I understand it, is the expense compounded by the current scarcity of titles designed specifically for PS3. The Blu-ray inclusion is more of a selling point that they shouldn't lose. We have quite a collection.
Right...
From what he said, I think Corey Edwards scans through all the forums he stumbles across including this one. I like his excitement and determination about this project. He knows his way around the rock and definitely has ambitious ideas!
As for any blog critics. Well, there will always be...
The idea that what you see as bad behavior from one news source justifies bad behavior from another is actually one of Bill O'Reilly personal pet peeves (yeah, I watch that silly man too). It is one thing to overly praise a candidate (Fox has done its share with W) and another to subtlety frame...
:excited: Oooh, Karen Prell posted something on his blog! I just posted something too. I have confidence in this director. He seems to understand what the Fraggles are about. :coy:
Say, wah?
Off-topic rebuttal below:

Really? Every news channel has its bias, but Fox is the most obvious and unapologetic. White House talking points are notoriously identical to those on Fox News even before they catch on. It doesn't take much effort...
Rotten Tomatoes Rating
Before getting into the post I must preface with the obvious statement that critical approval means nothing to the individual viewer, but can be a good indicator of a film's quality, longevity and performance. And heck, it's nice to see good things receive praise. I say...
That gruff voice just sounds a lot like Oscar. It isn't Spinney or intended to be or sound like Oscar. I hear it a little and can see what you're saying. Just a weird similarity.
