So I was watching some season 38 and 39 episodes on HBO Max, and I noticed that for the season 38 versions of the LOTD transitions for I and J, they had the lines on top (and bottom, in I’s case). However, in season 39, the lines were removed. I even have pictures, but of course MC won’t let me...
