I watched a Defunctland episode about how big the Muppets presence at Disney was going to be once the original deal went through. Pretty much the only reason it didn’t was Jim’s death. I wish there was an alternate universe where the deal did go through. I’d love to see what might have been.

Yup. So like Everyday Magic (last hour-long episode), this one will have to go in the SST history books. Coincidentally, they’re both season finales with the same NOTD.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this season has more repeats than original episodes.

Last I checked, the Muppet Wiki said the only piece of Kermit merchandise sold under the “Sesame” brand was the Magic Talking Kermit plush from 1999 (for the 30th anniversary).

They say there’s trying to fix the issue. I don’t know what happened either.

They don’t seem to care about using street scenes with the old set. And in last week’s episode, they used possibly the first HD number segment. So neither point is something they have a problem with. They must just really like the “Oops, Whoops, Aha!” song (even though it isn’t that good lol).
