I hope they keep up with Animal's friendship with this bunny rabbit. I am actually wiping tears from my eyes after laughing hard. :halo:
This bunny actually gives him something to play off of and makes him more dimensional. It also came from Frank Oz (or the writers during an Oz performance...
I have always felt Janice to be older. Being in my 30s now it doesn't feel the character is that far off. She seems a little more world wise than a 20 something. But I get you. Who knows? I could go with 20s too. Rockers are kind of ageless. I totally agree with Piggy. I always felt she tried to...
What are your ideas on what the (now Disney-owned) Muppet character "perpetual" ages? Here are my thoughts. They are totally arbitrary, but we were talking about it in the other thread so I felt it would be interesting to see how everyone perceived the characters.
35 Kermit
39 Miss Piggy

I get you with the MBs. My taste for them was short-lived. I always found the puppets to be very attractive. Henson planned to create a motion capture puppetry program with the Muppet Babies much like what they're doing with Sid the Science Kid and the Scrumps, but that was before the Disney...
I couldn't see them being raised together if Fozzie's Ma doesn't know who Kermit is at the beginning of the special. I have always found that bit to be incongruent to the rest of the appoximations introduced. I just consider it all to be some sort of Christmas home movie when they all crossed...
The McFarlane Simpsons characters didn't look right unless viewing them straight-on. The upper lips on those protruded a little too much and made them look strange at any other angle. I did like the quality of the sculpts and paint aps otherwise, but the lack of articulation was ridiculous...
I only enjoyed the Muppet bits on Sesame Street as a kid. To be honest - the pinball animation used to induce a panic attack. I don't know why! To be honest, I was only keen on a few of the live action people (Mr. Hooper was definitely among those on that list). The live action kid films never...
I thought that was beautiful. It was a bit different, but not as different as it appeared from season to season.
The VMX theater seats were even placed and divided in an odd way. Also the steps leading up to the back balcony just shouldn't have been there. We see the whole theater in all 5...
I tend to think of the Muppet Babies cartoon program as a mere continuance of Miss Piggy's daydream sequence in The Muppets Take Manhattan and nothing more. It doesn't match up with anything before established about the characters. Even in MTM, Piggy states *wouldn't* it be great *if* they'd...
Not that amount unless the place burned down and was rebuilt.
There appeared to be too many changes to the basic architecture, not just the artifice. Even the placement and shape of the balconies were vastly different. It really appeared to be a completely different theater dressed up to look...
This is how it works...
I'm a Henson-Muppet fan by way of:
1 The Muppet Show world (I first remember connecting to TMS)
2 Sesame Street world (I also watched SS)
3 Muppet movie & special worlds
4 The Dark Crystal & fantasy worlds
5 Fraggle Rock world
6 Muppet Babies world
7 Post-Jim...
Split up Pepe and Rizzo. Pair Pepe with Scooter and Rowlf with Rizzo. I think there are new comedic moments to be had and it helps introduce the classic characters along side the newer ones. Plus - Muppets do best in pairs. ;)
I really liked seeing the world outside the theater like the exterior shots or the Muppet Theater and the park with Kermit's statue.
I wasn't keen on the theater interior not matching up with the Muppet Show, but they did kind of write that line in about needing renovations.
Elmo does have a sly wit. I wish they'd go with that shade of him more than he appears in Elmo's World. Those segments are unwatchable.
I keep trying to make a dent into the book, but customers keep coming in. :grouchy:
LTS writer Scott Ganz explains in the recent MC interview, "Also, since we had to fit within an hour time slot, this special could only be 43 minutes long. That made it a challenge to get every character involved in the story. We wanted to do more with the Electric Mayhem and all our favorites...
You're thinking Jeffrey's Toys on Market. AFF is tucked away on Mission Street next to the Mel's Diner and across the street from the Westfield Shopping Center. Also it's down the street from the Metreon, but on the other side of Third Street. We cater to collectors, but have no comics (except...
Wow! I just took a look at them online and you are right. Those are terrible. The Neca line of Turtles is so beautiful, but the Playmates Ninjas look as if they have some sort of glandular disorder. And the colors are very odd.
Thanks for the update. You appear to be the most reliable source on Q. News reports get things wrong all the time.
What can be expected with a non-Equity tour? How will it differ aside from employment structure?
The Fraggle Rock 26th anniversary celebration menu is up on the main page of Muppet Central.
:coy: :smirk: :excited:
I remember growing up in a household without cable television and had to catch whatever episodes were available when visiting my grandparents' house in Baltimore. They were...
