Re: Gonzo's outfit
Is it purple or maroon? In the first two seasons, and variously thereafter, Gonzo wore the standard chorus outfit of a maroon tuxedo. From the third season on, he wore a lavender suit (or tuxedo- never payed much attention to the difference).
I just checked the pictures...
Ken: a response to your response
So the S & W roughs are done- which do they look more like, old or new? Or neither?
So they'll have their theater chairs- that's good. No berrybush?:( Oh well, probably too obscure anyway. But could something like a teacup, a hearing aid, or programs...
Ken, I almost forgot something! Don't I always have something to add.
I came up with it last night and wrote it down and didn't mention it in my last post. I was thinking about how Series 5 has Gonzo in his purple suit and I was thinking you could do a repaint exclusive of him in the maroon...
Ken- S & W accessories suggestions (many!) and more
Hi Ken
I know you're busy with compiling the list for the collectors' club, but I just had some brain flashes (after a large strawberry milkshake) as to Statler & Waldorf's accessories. I know they're a ways off, but I figured I'd offer...
I live in Michigan and the local TRU just got 'em Tuesday... and already sold out. What really gets me is I had to work Tuesday and Wednesday, so even if I wanted to I couldn't have gotten them. Well, if I had gotten up early...
David "Gorgon Heap" Ebersole
You must have only HEARD the Muppet version. No wonder you think it's a duet.
The character who sings this song (in the Muppet Show with Edgar Bergen) is a very elderly lab scientist. He makes and drinks potions throughout the song that make him younger and younger (hence the different...
Yeah, in the back of my mind I figured that you weren't making Invisible Beakers available, but someone mentioned it in another thread so I thought maybe I had missed something.

Hey Ken
So the collectors' club is materializing it would seem. I got an email today from Peter Poleksik at Palisades who's compiling a list. Another thread mentioned that we have to email you by Friday to get on the list for VC Beaker and Invisible Beaker; will emailing Peter suffice or do...
Koozebane is the Muppet Show's alien planet. The early Koozebane sketches had Kermit the Muppet reporter going there to introduce audiences to one of the planet's creatures. Also, the Swinetrek landed on Koozebane twice.
Vaudeville S & W are S & W in vaudeville outfits- red and white...
Some random stuff for Ken
Hey Ken,
I was thinking about the bios on the back of the blister cards (did I use the right word? Would "packages" also be correct) and started thinking about some words for likes/dislikes on a few of the upcoming ones. Here's what I thought up for Floyd (though...
I get it now. Dontshoot, the piano player, as in the classic Truffaut film, "Don't Shoot the Piano Player", which starred none other than Charles Aznavour (it's his best-remembered film).
But yes, Jim Henson himself said Dr. Teeth was based off of Dr. John, even though he dresses more like...
uncleduke-
Actually I was thinking about this last night, and I would compare the Simpsons blackboard bit to the S & W bits from seasons 2-4 (Fozzie joke in season 1), particularly given their placement in the middle of the opening credits.

The last numerical episode, #120, is Roger Moore. The last episode taped, and the one intended as the series finale, was the show with Gene Kelly.
There were a variety of factors for why the show ended. Jim wanted to end the show while it was still popular rather than wait for audiences to...
Beaker's coat is BROWN? It used to be green. Change is always something that has bothered me, but if this is the way it is I'll get used to it.
Still looks great on the whole.

Yet another question for you Ken. I seem to recall some discussion of it on the old forum, but here goes:
Just to refresh our memories, Rowlf isn't going to come with a piano bench because he won't be able to sit. Am I correct?
David "Gorgon Heap" Ebersole
Gorry, I started a separate thread for trying to get VC Beakers. However, with news pending on the collectors' club idea I may wait. Eh, put me on the list anyway.
Ken, if the collectors' club gets off the ground will it be in time for VC Beaker or not?

What about other celebs who would've/could've been on TMS?
Originally booked for show:
Robin Williams
Cher (replaced by Debbie Harry)
Richard Pryor (replaced by Chris Langham)
Tried to get on show:
Frank Sinatra
Paul McCartney
George Harrison
There are Beatles figures, this I...

Would you settle for Annie Sue being swallowed by a Koozebanian?
But seriously, I never found her that annoying, and you have to admit there never were enough central female characters.

Yet another quick question for Ken
I swear I don't know how you keep up with us. There are so many of us and only one of you... at least as far as I know...
(Dave's eyes move about the room suspiciously)
Anyway, I know that the Tux Fozzie exclusive was dropped in favor of the Vacation...
