I also wonder how this HBO Max Service will work in general. Like how much will it cost, etc. From what I understand, it’s not something that comes along with your cable/satellite provider, but something you would subscribe to instead of cable or satellite, aka “cutting the cord.” I even wonder...
Are we sure the date for this is November 10? Because I looked on HBO's website, and it does not list the special as airing on that date. I thought it was going to air on both HBO and PBS.
Yes I do believe the lack of classic material is mostly due to HD. They never show anything from before Season 39 now (when they first went HD), never mind the 1970s. It’s sad, but it’s the truth.
The trailer was just posted on Sesame Street's YouTube channel and it actually says it's NOW available on DVD and digital download. I thought it wasn't going to be available until October 1.
Do you really think this new HBO Max will have more previously-unreleased classic episodes? Because there's something you have to remember. There is classic SS on HBO right now, just as there has been ever since SS premiered on HBO nearly 5 years ago. They just haven't added any "new" classic...
I've actually been wondering about the classic song "Nearly Missed" from the Sesame Street Book & Record. I know that most songs on there were featured in Season 1, but now that we have full guide info for all the Season 1 episodes, it would appear the song was never used in season 1. I wonder...
You can’t. They do not release instrumental versions of songs (though they do occasionally have small instrumental portions of songs at the end of videos on their YouTube channel).
I still don't know if they're available to watch at either of the two locations. I tried looking on the AARP website and there didn't seem to be any changes.
This clip has been on Sesame Street's official YouTube channel for over 10 years now, in fact I think it was one of the very first clips they ever uploaded. However, with all this episode info on Muppet Wiki from the early 80s (which one YouTube user commented this is when the song was from), I...
Jesus, why do you guys always have to be so negative? This petition has almost 2,500 signatures on it. The purpose of this petition is to get us what we’ve always wanted! You don’t have to sign if you don’t want to but you don’t have to make negative comments about it either.
So there’s a petition to make all the SS episodes that have been given to the AARP to be available online, which I think is a wonderful idea. I don’t know why they wouldn’t be. So please sign this petition to make it happen...
I actually have when I was younger. Because my local PBS station used to air Saturday and Sunday marathons where they would re-air the entire week. I loved it. And then there was Noggin, which used to air Season 25 during the preschool block, and I think they aired 3 episodes per day, though not...
