If the Muppets ever offered the chance to do your taxes for you. Which one would you choose?
I'd probably pick Bunsen because he's smart and probably knows the right calculations. But then again, the things he does gets Beaker in trouble. So I'm not sure about that.
Sam might be a good...
XERUS'S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS
This week's voice artist focus is Rob Paulsen. My all time favorite voice artist of today. He has voiced many characters I liked over the years like Yakko, Pinky, Ogden Ostrich, Carl Wheezer, Mark Chang, Exp. 625, and many more.
ADVENTURES OF JIMMY NEUTRON, BOY...
Does anyone remember this story from the late 70's?
Big Bird walks by the Fix it Shop and he finds a brown wooden chair. But the chair only had 3 legs. Big Bird wondered how he could fix it. Then Simon Soundman comes along and offers Big Bird some tips. But Simon spoke in his usual sound...
Does anyone remember this story from the early 80's?
Maria wanted to go to Hooper's store, but there was a powerful windstorm out that causes her to get blown back. About 3 adults (Can't remember who) came to help push Maria to the store, but the wind was too strong for them. Then Big Bird...
Even though the FR animated series wasn't as good as the original series, I found some of the stories pretty interesting.
One animated episode I liked was, "The Funniest Joke in the Universe!" Boober ends up finding a lost scroll that had the funniest joke in the universe. It went like...
I've been wondering how Junior really feels about Fraggles.
There were lots of times Junior wanted to catch Fraggles and put them in cages so he can either keep them as pets or torture them.
And there was an episode where Mokey put a dummy Fraggle in a cage and Junior thought he killed a...
What if they decide to make brand new skits of those classic word family songs?
Herry and Grover could sing about the AT family with the words, BAT, CAT, HAT, and SAT.
Telly and Baby Bear could sing about the EN family with the words, HEN, MEN, PEN, and TEN.
Ernie and Bert could sing...
Here's something that's fun. Take a Muppet and their name, then change, move or take away a letter or two and watch them morph into someone different.
1. Start with Waldorf. Take away the RF and watch him change to Waldo. Then bring back RF and watch him change back to Waldorf. Then take...
I remember Kermit firing Wayne and Wanda a while back, but then rehiring them out of guilt, but then firing them again remembering how terrible they were.
When Kermit was sick and Fozzie was in charge of the show and messed everything up, Kermit fired him, but then changed his mind when...
Does anyone remember the old ITC logo at the beginning of each episode when the Muppet Show first aired?
It starts out with a night sky where three diamonds, a red, a green, and a blue, all conected together, start spinning around like a top. Then the letters ITC zoom in, each letter inside...
I just heard that Stan Berenstain, one of the creators or the Berenstain Bears, has passed away. He was 82. Stan and his wife, Jan, had created all those great Berenstain Bears books for many years, starting with The Big Honey Hunt, and I thank them for sharing their talents with us.
You...
I saw Zathura this weekend and I discovered that Frank Oz did a voice in that movie. He did a giant malfunctioning robot whose mission was to attack. I thought I had recognized that deep monster sounding voice when I first heard it. It was when I saw the end credits and discovered Frank's name.
I remember hearing some of the Muppeteers voice some cartoon characters.
In some of the Sesame Street cartoons.....
There was a cartoon called Flossie and Splat. And it sounded like Kevin Clash did the voice of the short purple monster called Splat. And in the cartoon, find the animals...
Has anyone seen this rare clip when Dr. Teeth was on MTV was being interviewed by one of the DJs?
It was back in the early 80s. Dr. Teeth was in the MTV studio talking about Muppets Take Manhattan and the new video based on that movie. He was talking in his usual cool personality and how...
When did you all first hear about the internet?
I remember when we were watching the 94 Olympics, the announcers said they were getting e-mails from all sorts of fans. My family and I kept wondering what e-mail was.
And then on some TV shows, I learned about the words internet and...
Has anyone checked out the new Halloween cartoon on the Homestar Runner webpage? One of the characters on there dresses up like a certain Muppet Show character. Go and check it out to find out which one. :)

I heard that Cookie Monster doesn't eat real cookies because chocolate, oil, and grease can damage a Muppet. He only eats rice cakes painted to look like cookies.
It makes me wonder, does anyone know what kind of things can damage a Muppet? I wonder if Oscar bathes in real mud or fake mud...
I just heard recently that actor Hamilton Camp passed away this October 2.
Hamilton was a really talented voice actor and I loved his work. He was the voice of Greedy and Harmony in the Smurfs. Young Barney Rubble in the Flintstone Kids. And what I think is his best character was Fenton...
I always wondered if a Muppet can give out autographs to people. It might be easy for some Muppets like Fozzie, Rowlf, and Beaker, since they have moveable fingers for writing. But it might be hard for Muppets with wired controlled hands like Kermit, Piggy, and Gonzo. :concern:
