Joe Raposo's song "Takes a lot of little nuts to make a jar of peanut butter"

You are correct because a lot of material from the 80s was redone, but when I wrote this thread I knew that to feature Joe Raposo's song "It takes a lot of little nuts to make a jar of peanut butter" on the show today, they'd have to reshoot it because that song was from when almond butter...

Joe Raposo's song "Takes a lot of little nuts to make a jar of peanut butter"

You know, I wanted to see that happen in the last year before the company shut down. Unfortunately, as far as I know, nobody has purchased the rights to the brand, so I can't put that factory on the ballot.

Joe Raposo's song "Takes a lot of little nuts to make a jar of peanut butter"

D'Snowth, why are you glad this thread exists?

Joe Raposo's song "Takes a lot of little nuts to make a jar of peanut butter"

You all know that if Joe Raposo's song "It takes a lot of little nuts to make a jar of peanut butter" were to be re-aired, Sesame Workshop would have to re-tape it and slightly edit the lyrics so as to teach that peanut butter isn't the only seed butter available, there is also almond butter...

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

Another reason Between the Lions was a beneficial TV show is that if kids see their favorite children's characters eating meat (even if no brand is mentioned) they will be willing to eat meat even as adults, recognizing that the consumption of meat is part of the ecosystem and stop believing all...

Anybody remember Kidsongs with Billy and Ruby Biggle?

Did Kidsongs with Billy and Ruby Biggle have a reputation for being annoying to adults, or was it one of the few educational kid shows that adults could tolerate? I ask because we all know that Barney, Teletubbies, Blue's Clues and some other educational children's shows had a reputation for...

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

Thank you, but my question still remains. What I meant is, why were the "annoying to adults" kid shows more popular than Between the Lions?

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

Why were the kid shows that many adults who grew up with Sesame Street thought were annoying (such as Barney and Teletubbies) more popular than Between the Lions?

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

Can you guess what Between the Lions character Leona's friend Maire is based on?

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

As I asked earlier in this thread, if Between the Lions were to get a reboot, what does anybody think of the idea of Leona having a friend named Maura but spelled Maire, however it's pronounced Maura (Yes, it's true, that really is a variation of the name Maura) and Leona incorrectly calls her...

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

What stories do you know about it?

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

How did people your age who grew up with Sesame Street feel about Teletubbies when it was introduced to the USA?

Anybody remember Kidsongs with Billy and Ruby Biggle?

I have been watching episodes of this show. Who else remembers it? By the way, since it was a co-production of Warner Brothers and was around in the days when the Warner Brothers Studio Stores were in business, how come the Warner Brothers Studio Stores never carried merchandise of Billy and...

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

Between the Lions wasn't so well known in its day as Barney or Teletubbies were in theirs. I met people that didn't know what Between the Lions was. By contrast, everybody in the 90s and early 2000s knew who Barney, Baby Bop and BJ were, even if they didn't have children at the age for Barney...

    Question about Candlewick Press' logo

Scotwood Industries uses the Warner Bros. Road Runner as the mascot and logo of their Road Runner Ice Melt (apparently Warner Bros. has granted the necessary permissions), and Scotwood Industries is not affiliated with Warner Brothers. The reason for the Warner Bros. Road Runner logo is because...

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

What makes you say that puppets should not eat Slim Jims on an educational kids show?
  17. S

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

If Between the Lions were ever rebooted, because Slim Jims are a meat snack that the consumer does not have to cook before eating (Slim Jims are not really raw meat, the manufacturer just did the cooking for the consumers, whereas other meat sold in the supermarket has not at all been cooked)...

Wild ties for you to wear to work

It didn't occur to me that there are artificial products that aren't ready to use when the consumer first purchases them when I posted that tutorial on converting adult-size ties into kiddie ties and taught myself that if the makers of these Muppet/Sesame/Henson ties intended them to be worn by...

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

That I agree with. However, my original line was NOT referring to the educational curriculum of the show. I was referring to the fact that Between the Lions had a main story interrupted by various short segments.

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

But who said if they were to make a new version of Between the Lions it would have to be with puppets? Who said a reboot of Between the Lions can't be animated? Just because Between the Lions was of the same structure as old Sesame Street (a main story interrupted by various short segments)...
