Erin: Was that Alex I saw floating down the hallway just a moment ago?
Others: Yes.
Erin: (surveying wreckage around room) And is it true that Bunsen unleashed an anti-gravity formula on the dorms while I was gone?
Others: Yes.
Scooter: But don't worry - I locked the cabinets, so your teapots...
She's hoping the same thing. But Sweetums is just fine.
My dad and brother kind of favored using Greek letters to name their computers - or occasionally, names from Star Wars. I'm the first one under our roof to name a computer (my laptop) after a Muppet (Scooter). And Mom followed suit when...
Storyteller: Ooh. (looks up) Uh, Richard, sweetie, I think you're going to have to talk through the kitchen window, 'cause Claudia's starting to get a little freaked out.
Beige: Oh, she's always freaking out.
Nora: Then again...she thought it was really cool when all the angels showed up in our...
Erin: Oh, so Anastasia and her family will make it into the story.
(up in heaven)
Richard: All those rumors about Rasputin and Alexandra, and the others - it's a load of tripe. But Anastasia told me that they were good for a laugh sometimes.
Erin: Wait - Richard, you've met Anastasia...
It's okay - Sweetums is her office desktop, purchased about five months ago. The laptop of which I speak has been in the family for quite a bit longer.
Let's see - the Great Sugar Rush of 1981 (it'd have to be 1981 or thereabouts because Karen Prell witnessed it, and she joined TMS in season...
The Count as Rasputin...so, who'd play Anastasia, and the rest of the Romanovs?
(sure, I know, they might not have been included in the story or the film, but there you go)
Hey, Will, nice to see you back. We know all about computer troubles - my mom's laptop is pretty much on its last legs at the moment, from what I hear.
That's right, you've got to hear both sides of the story - Richard teasing his cohorts and calling them scaredy cats, and Dave protesting...
Scooter: Good thing we didn't try for "Tears in Heaven."
Erin: I know, and when you consider what was going on in Clapton's life when he wrote that...
Scooter: Right. I chose the last one, so it's your turn to choose.
Erin: Okay, let's see...
(Storyteller and Beige enter)
Beige: Tell me you...
Scooter: (sitting on sofa with guitar) Wonder where everyone is?
Erin: (looks up from computer) Nora's having dinner with Mrs. Farley and her family...Storyteller's gone off to visit friends and Beige went back to the Cave for a visit.
Scooter: It's kind of quiet in here. (plucks a few notes)...
I really wonder how Richard would have fit in at MuppetFest, had Fate let him and Jim stick around a little longer. I'll bet the proceedings would have been ten times nuttier if Richard were there with Scooter and some of his other puppets.
(chuckle) That's true. Junior Gorg: body by Mills...
(first few batches of crepes have come off the crepe maker)
Erin: All right, everyone, tuck in.
(all top their crepes with sliced fruit and sweetened ricotta cheese, and sit down at the table to eat)
Erin: (going into kitchen) I actually needed a jacket on my way home tonight - fall must be here.
Scooter: I know - it's not hot and humid here anymore.
Erin: (spotting Nora on sofa) Everything okay, Nora?
Nora: I'm fine...just tired.
Storyteller: Well, it is rather late - has everyone had...
Gryffindor: bravery
Hufflepuff: hard work and loyalty
Ravenclaw: intelligence, creativity
Slytherin: ambition
Well, I like to think that Richard would have been included no matter what. I mean, he was so crucial to the success of Fraggle Rock and all the other Muppet Shows that they have to...
Really? And I thought Richard was mostly Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, with a touch of Hufflepuff.
(chuckle) I'll bet the scene with the confetti was worth seeing - and now I really want to see Richard walk over and start teasing Dave and Steve (or Scaredy cat #1 and #2).
So Richard left his...
Was Richard involved in the writing process for "Battle of Leaking Roof?" If so, it'd be cool to see what he contributed.
"Are you sure this isn't one of your dumb, hare-brained schemes?"
"Oh, no, Pa, this is one of my smart, hare-brained schemes!"
(laughs) Muppet performers scaring each other...
Wow...you must be really proud of your brother, Kathy, and I'm sorry about your friend.
You know, the world is full of ordinary people who want to do good things for others, but we often don't hear about them - instead, it seems we're always hearing about the smaller number of people who cause...
And I've just been too busy. But it'd be nice to see what other whimsical mayhem the Fraggles will be involved in in season 3. We know Philo and Gunge get captured by evil Wander McMooch, and I think the Mean Genie's supposed to show up - it's either this or season 4.
