On Writing Fan Fiction (Rules & Advice)

Bump, bump, bumpity, bumpy, boomp, beump, bumpy, bump, bump, bump... I've just found the key to writing Sesame Street characters! OK so, this may seem obvious to some, but the key is, the characters are totally innocent. They may not be totally void of occasional sarcasm and they get physically...

This is why cartoon characters don't exist in real life...

I do often wonder what certain characters would look like if they were in live action versions of their shows.

This is why cartoon characters don't exist in real life...

Similarly, I used to draw Sesame Street characters as humans a lot...not for any particular reason, it was just a fascination I had.

This is why cartoon characters don't exist in real life...

Um...this may sound strange but, I actually think the Timmy Turner one and Finn are actually a little cute.

New Muppet series in development for Disney's 2019 streaming service

Yep, if this is really happening, I don't care what it's on, i'm just excited for a new show. As for the writer, I really hope they pick a Muppet writer to be the head. Not to mention, if they want this to be a success the performers need to have some say in how the characters are portrayed...

    The Doctor Who Thread

I guess what we really wanna talk about is new episodes, but there haven't been any recently. What also makes it hard is, there are so few people on this thread, so whenever there's a new episode there's no guarantee that everyone in the thread has seen it yet. I mostly discuss news for the show...

    For when you're feeling down...

Imagine having a really stressful and mundane day at work, and then all of sudden this guy shows up. And working in fast food can be a very stressful job. I love how much fun he had with this. I wonder if he's an actual voice actor for a living.

Mike Lisa: No puppet after 11 years

Aw man, that's a shame. I follow the guy on Instagram and his puppets look AMAZING! I was really hoping to save up enough money to buy something from him. Oh well, I guess it's time to unfollow him. Perhaps if enough of us on here have Instagram accounts, we can spread the word by commenting on...

Your dream TV show music settings.

I love both Murray Gold and John Williams's scores, unfortunately none of my ideas are quite grand enough to warrant the epic-ness of their arrangements. At least for the story i'm writing, I think Michael Stein and Kyle Dixon, the composers of Stranger Things would be a great fit.

Ask A Pig All the Questions

But, anyways my favorite episode would definitely have to be The Day of the Doctor. If you ask me, that's about as close to a perfect episode as you can get. My other favorites include The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances, The Eleventh Hour, Dark Water, and Deep Breath. Favorite Doctor? That's...
