And you can keep projecting yourself all you want. Mr. “I’m never grateful whenever Sesame Workshop offers new, never released to the public episodes legally” 🤷♂️
The Thomas community is divided by these groups of people far as I'm concerned:
Cool people
Cool creative people
Creative people who are narcissistic and need constant praise for it
Immature fans who will argue over stupid things like which narrator is better or which toy brand is superior...
On that note, I was VERY surprised to find out “Drip Tank” was actually considered for season 2 but dropped.
What just baffles me though is why it was listed as episode 16 since it serves as part two from Percy’s quarrel with Thomas in “Thomas, Percy and the Coal” AKA “Double Trouble” in...
Yeah, I got some Thomas fans getting on my *** over the fact that I questioned the original letter on why this person thought the engines had romantic feelings for each other. They don’t. They’re just aromantic asexual engines who just want to enjoy each other’s company in a friendly way and...
I’m sure he would have liked them. Personally I think Muppet fans are guilty of using him as a weapon to say how “Sesame Street” or “The Muppets” have gone downhill since his passing and it’s really unfair to him since he’s dead.
Whatever. I’m not gonna go back and forth with you on this. You clearly seem to take any criticism about how Disney handles the Muppets personally, so I’ll leave you with that.
If y’all want my honest opinion, the 2020s is honestly the worst time to be a Muppets fan (heck, I’d even say “Sesame Street” for that matter given the direction the show is going in now). We already got two shows cancelled this decade out of pure pettiness.
Yes. Pettiness.
The cancellation of...
Okay, I’m sorry for expressing my annoyance with how poorly repetitive Disney treats a franchise I’ve loved since childhood. 🤷♂️
When companies continually disrespect shows people love, fans are going to publicly complain online. Welcome to the internet.
A one-time special as the Muppets are then placed into storage to collect dust while occasionally being used for ads as temporary filler production and then a new show concept will come about, released online, cancelled, rinse and repeat.
Oh wow, I honestly had no idea he was the one behind that weird CGI person taking a drink of coffee….. from their nose (Nick Brew) from that early 90s Nickelodeon bumper.
Though honestly since finding out he also made that ICE animation film for “Sesame Street,” that also makes sense. I found...
I understand it was a corporate business decision, but honestly, replacing the food court fountain machine from Pepsi products to Coke products at Costco was a MASSIVE downgrade.
I love sprite. That being said, it doesn’t pair nicely as a drink with their pizza and chicken bakes. That lemon...
Disney is just nothing more than a shell of its former self at this point, but I feel like that’s just the equivalent of saying water is wet.
Far as I’m concerned though, their true colors only really began to show by the 2010s and just gradually got worse.
Right, I know it was before they acquired the Muppets, I had forgotten it aired on NBC and thought it was on ABC and figured it was during a pre-acquisition period of rights negotiations.
Regardless, I don’t know what direction went with Kermit in that movie but I feel like Disney just copied...
Something I have kind of noticed with Matt’s Kermit, it seems more like he tries to focus on his voice rather than his personality. Whereas with Steve, he definitely focused on his Kermit voice but didn’t otherwise make it the main focus and still captures his personality down perfectly. Maybe...
Woke up in a really horrible mood this morning. This song is easily one of my favorite Chris Cerf songs to sing along and listen to, and it’s easily a big dopamine release especially with the nostalgia of seeing this on the “Rock & Roll!” VHS.
“Right, ducky!”
I mean from what I can gather, it was his choice to step away from Muppet projects because he didn’t want to just be known as a guy who does Muppet stuff for a living.
In the end it was sad to see him go but I find all his successors (especially Eric Jacobson) have done a great job with his...
