Yeah, at first I used a baby Koozebanian I drew in ms paint and then when I reached senior membership, I switched it over to the male adult. After that, I did go to the Kermit plush with the saber (which I use on other forums), then, eventually, I went to the screencap I use now of Milton from...
I've been a huge fan of the show for years, but have never seen the 80's series. I rewatched the new series from a few years ago last week and I have to say that they were much better than I remember them being. Not exactly for kids but definately a much edgier, darker take at the Zone.
I'm...
I'm actually still here, I just kind of lurk around every once and a while now since I AIM with most of the people I used to talk to. My interest in Muppets hasn't gone away, just my interest in whatever Disney cranks out with them -- 'Oz' was basically the nail in the coffin for me. For the...
Gosh, sorry to hear about this, Katie. Gimme a ring whenever you can since I only have your home # and not your cell and we can talk about it over that. :(
The only reason I'm not disappointed is that I wasn't expecting anything better than Kermit's Swamp Years. Sadly, this made me appreciate that.
But hey, at least we didn't have to pay to watch this. That's about as 'optimistic' as I can be.
What's especially good about these is that the NBC network bug is virtually transparent and isn't bothersome like the headline ticker was with the E! airings.
Just dropping a line while I'm in here....
I've been getting bombared with neverending paper assignments and midterms over the past month, making all potential 'guide time' nonexistent. I should have a spare moment this weekend, so a revamped "sci-fi" guide should be online within a week...
Well, gee. Thanks everyone. You'd think that not being here really since last July would have caused me to be entirely forgotten due to the sheer number of people that have joined since then but I guess I was wrong (aside from the obvious fact my bday is posted on the main page ;))
Its been a rather dry week for updates to the guide--I had two exams today that I spent the weekend studying for along with my usual glob of reading. Good to know there's some interest--that will definately help during those moments where I get fed up with transcribing scenes.
Count: No...
UPDATE
Slightly fixed the formating of the guides, reuploaded them. The only differences textually in this edit were minor grammattical things and the change from "host" to "host monster" in the Monster Telethon guide (I understand your logic on specifying the surname 'monster' in the...
They technically are Mr/Mrs Goldfarb in plot detail, so that is the name they are indexed as in char guide 1.0 (the one thats up) -- I'd much rather use proper names, even if the puppets could be generic (and as far as I know, they were only used as those two people).
Do know the character...
I figured I'd pop in to update anyone who is interested on the progress of the JHH guide that I started several years back on tvtome...
Though I have not added any more guides (still only at four complete, two of which I intend to expand), the site format is more or less complete right now...
I listened to the samples iTunes has and the ep sounds quite a bit better than anything she ever did on the show (the annoying twang she had on all the live performaces is lacking, which is good on the ears), but none of it is my bag.
The cast also says that particular word in the Mac Davis episode during the "It's Hard to be Humble" song. I guess Muppet swearing doesn't apply to singing ;)
