At least his car is okay so we don't have to buy him a boat to ride around in ;)
Seriously, though, I'm really glad that everything is okay over there. When I started reading about this yesterday I began to have a bad feeling about it. :)
Ah... back the good ol' days when school had days off. The only holiday that they give us at my university is MLK day, though we do have from November 20something through the first week of the new year off.
Yeah, you have a good point there. Usually it IS best just to watch a movie by yourself without someone to point out all the various plot holes or make various "watch this, its hilarious!" comments. IE, don't watch Star Wars movies with me ("DId you see that? ::rewinds dvd and pauses:: That's a...
In all honesty, I din't get all the hype about this movie. I knew people like this in school (literally) so it wasn't all that funny since I've already seen a lot of these kinds of things happen. From a traditional, plot structure sense, this movie fails -- it lacks a true plot and contains...
Yeah, it is -- I've heard a handful of versions of it before from Spike Jones to something off the Lawrence Welk Show to big band swing . Most popularly, its part of the Enchanted Tiki Room (assuming it still runs its classic program) at Disneyland.
For the past couple years, mine has been Milton from "Song of the Cloud Forest" from JHH. Not really much else to say about that, but I've been thinking of changing it temporarily to something more Halloweenish...
Frankly, I've always wanted a cool nickname (like "dash"), but since I don't hang around with many (any) people these days, I remain nickname-less. Actually, the only un-crappy nickname I've even had was when I used the name "Max Power" when I ate at Quiznos Subs three years ago. Henceforth, I'd...
Alrighty then, lets see what else I can dig out of the 'bag of shame'...
When I was around eleven, I had a pair of those moon boot shoes that supposedly enabled you to jump higher. Needless to say, they were a big scam. Anyhow, I was jumping around in them without socks on the second floor of...
I honestly don't think that a "perfect" JHH episode copy would exist without playing a little Dr. Frankenstein and editing the best pieces from existing copies together. You'd wind up with some weirdness, but its better than the alternative.
Wow, I guess I typed all that up for nothing, then.
But, just so you know, sites never become popular over night unless there's a ton of buzz going around. With sites on obscure matters (such as my site on the euphonium instrument that I updated frequently for about 3 years... people still go...
I'm too lazy to type up the complete stories right now, but if anyone wants to hear further elaborations, say so.
On the way [driving] to the first day of band camp in Junior year, I was rear-ended at an intersection by a truck. If I had been looking back, glass would have hit my face...
First and foremost, make sure all of the images and pages are backed up on your computer. You'll probably regret losing what looks like a ton of work.
I'd recommend just to keep the site as long as you aren't being charged for it or don't have any issues posting copyrighted images.
I've had...
Its a sad day when your puppet alter-ego gets more Google hits than you. ;)
The only site that comes up for me, though, is one through my university. My actual website winds up appearing on page 15 or so.
It could get worse than being named the same thing as Spears' baby, though. A buddy of mine from middle school was named after one of the Columbine killers because his older sister was friends with him when they were little kids. He almost changed his first name after that happened back in...
