As I said, if this first one sells moderately well, seasons are probably imminent if they realize how high this demand is. Simpsons did it for a while on vhs, South Park has done it, Married... With Children released two 'best of' discs before releasing seasons, Spongebob has, several Anime...

I don't think they would ever remove the laughtrack from TMS (unless, of course, they're doing some kind of album thing) since its kind of a trademark to the show.
Nope. Believe it or not, but Dan Castellaneta from the Simpsons (he does Homer, in case you didn't know) did Philo & Travelling Matt. I'll have to dig out my FR animated tape and hear for myself. As far as I can tell through my quick research, none of the 'real' performers supplied voices...
He's an ape (presumably a gorilla) from JHH that was on Guerilla Television. Orangeish in color (if you go to the henson.com site then under JHH, there's a pic of him with Zondra and Chip). I presume you have some JHH on tape... ^_~

There are numerous collections of sound effects on cd that are more than likely to contain laughter on them (I have a 300 sound one that I got circa the mid 90's for dirt cheap that has several laugh tracks on it). As long as your video isn't being distributed, sold, or...
All four episodes were released in 1999/2000 on VHS, but it looks like Amazon (where I got both from last summer) only has Perseus and the Gorgon/Daedalus and Icarus left in stock. eBay probably has the other.
I'm glad to see that this has a brief demo of the book since I kinda blew my 'media fund' the other day on the TMS dvds and a couple Beatles cd's. The 'Arboreal Wisdom' chapter/poem/whatever you want to call it was actually quite a enjoyable (and not just because I'm a big fan of reptiles...
The only kind of projects I've found actually come out well when working solo are stop-motion animation. Heh, I used to do these films with Lego people and would later dub in voices...heh heh...anyway....
