I have the full UK versions of The Muppet Movie and A Muppet Family Christmas on original videos but I'm not sure how easy it would be for me to copy it on DVD for view in the US, plus it's a fairly cheap DVD/VHS combined machine so menu screens and such like can't be done.
That's a good way of looking at things. The only thing I don't like on here is people that say "it's crap and I'm not buying it" without giving any kind of constructive criticism. We could do with someone that can take all the ideas we have about the replicas and turn them into something that...

Here's a nice pic from the back inside cover of the 1981 Muppets annual. Animal definitely has a black gap between his eyes. He has changed over the years, hair length and colour and face proportions. Everytime they...
I'm guessing he will be the correct size but he won't weight very much. They will probably make his body out of something light or even hollow it out. We did have some approximated prices for the forthcoming replicas. Anyone still have the list?
We shouldn't really need to do this at all. Why don't the bigwigs at Disney realise that they are sitting on a potential goldmine of unreleased or no longer available Muppet specials? Even The Muppets At Walt Disney World would be a great one to have on DVD and surely Disney would have no...
To be honest, the height of the characters aren't that important. When a group of Muppet posers are photographed together they are all adjusted so they all look better together. On the John Denver christmas album Kermit is nearly up to John's shoulder when, in reality, he would barely come up to...
Aha! Classic. You should try recreating a promo they did for A Muppet Family Christmas with Animal bursting out of a Christmas present wearing a santa hat!
Another couple of pics of my Animal. I think one of the keys to a good photo is good lighting, something that I don't have in my photos! :smirk:

Animal, Gonzo, Piggy and Fozzie have all changed quite dramatically since they were first seen. At least Scooter is one character that hasn't changed much over the years so he could be made to pretty much everyone's expectations. I'm sure the jeans, jacket and sneakers would help to push the...
The problems with Animal, oversized tongue, untameable hair and white plastic eyelids are very minimal. It's a still a nice figure that is really close to the real thing. Fingers crossed for a long continuation of this line!
Here's my first photo attempts of Animal. I just can't seem to manage to control that hair of his!

Just received my Animal. I must say he looks better in person than in the photos. He has a good quality feel to him. His hair is crazy tho so it'll take a while to get him looking something like. Pity about the eyebrows and mouth but with a bit of messing you can get some good expressions...
I will be getting Gonzo too because I enjoy collecting Henson and Muppet related memorabilia. I just think the people who won't be buying these replicas might regret in years to come when they realise, even tho they are not perfect, they are as close to the real thing as will ever be released. I...
I'm refering to the fact that if certain people don't buy this particular replica they will never own an officially licensed replica of that character because they will not come round again. I was not refering to how quickly they would sell. However, poor sales of these replicas, whatever the...
What MR are releasing is the best we are gonna get. Period. It's up to the individual whether they buy them or not. I, and it seems MuppetCaper, feel that these are nice, good quailty Muppet releases that we want in our collections. If you buy one, you will have a limited edition Muppet poser...
I'll have a better opinion of him once I can see for myself. His nose seems a little small and he has a little too much hair from what I can see (compared to quite recent pictures of the official poser).
