He was wearing his spiked collar and cuffs all the way through The Muppet Movie too. To be honest, I haven't seen many "poser" pics of Animal until the 90s revamp of The Muppets. By that time Animal rarely wore his signature "Sgt Peppers" top or the spiked collar and cuffs.

It also stated that Animal had his "spiked collar and cuffs" but that didn't happen either. I hope Gonzo's mouth will open and close but that would have been a more important feature on Animal. I really want Gonzo's eyelids to be posable or at least flexible enough to give him some expression.

Let's all hold back judgement until the first few fan pics are posted or at least until the new MR photos are up. I am not a cheerleader but we should give them the benefit of the doubt before running the Gonzo replica into the ground. Animal, in the MR pics at least, looks completely wrong but...

£150 isn't particularly expensive for something that size and with that much work in it. As far as I am concerned he is easily worth every penny. If they continue with the quality for similar prices I will be more than happy.

I managed to get a long plastic chain on eBay. Search for "halloween chain prop" and there are some in the US and Hong Kong. The ones from Hong Kong are black so will need spraying metallic.

The material on his eyelids doesn't allow the eyes to close fully but if you mess with the black fur around his eyes you can brush it all forward to make his eyes look amost closed. By the way, does anyone have any good quality photos of Animal with his collar and/or cuffs showing so I can...
