Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
Yeah. I could definitely see and Abelardo smilie. He seems to be one of the more popular foreign characters, especially due to his appearance on our SS one time.
I would say Steve Whitmire gets an honorable mention here, even though he's no longer with the Muppets now, I do commend him for the great job he's been with Kermit over the many years, plus since he performed as early as TMS season 3, you can tell after being involved for so many years he...
Now, all we need is an Erin Ozker interview. Though of course if she hadn't left TMS we like totally wouldn't have Janice's famous valley girl accent. Rully. :flirt:
Oh, right. I checked Muppet Wiki and saw she's deceased now. So never mind.
Yeah. I don't think Zoe would have been recast after Fran's retirement if they were going to phase her out. Why we haven't seen/heard Jen as Mama Bear I don't know, except in the Band Episode but she didn't have a speaking part there.
That would definitely be a good idea. Plus they really did explain divorce a few years back with Abby's parents, so the Snuffy episode in DVD form or streaming in some way shape or form shouldn't be too much of a stretch.
Yeah. I know what you mean. That's why I've done it a day early in the past. Maybe next time I can pull a Joey Gladstone and do April Fool's a month early. :) Though like I said, I probably need to do some more research as well to come up with something people will fall for.
This has been talked about before but so far nothing has been official until now. According to recent Sesame Street archives, Maria, Luis, Bob, Gordon, Gina and even Ruthie will appear in all 26 episodes of season 50. (Save for repeat episodes.) Storylines include Gordon retiring from working as...
I take it this is real and not an April Fool's joke. As I have predicted before, Julia eps seem to air on PBS ahead of time. Too bad I start my job that day, but I should be able to see it somehow.
Wow! An intense fight between Bob and Linda. I really would have liked to see that and hear the song that Bob wrote.
Well, I do remember one early sketch where some cast members mentioned that Gordon kept shaving his head and not letting it grow back and the cast members including Oscar...
I agree completely. It is a little weird to see characters like Maria, Luis, Gordon, Gina, Leela and Mando, etc. when they're sort of long gone. Don't get me wrong. It's great to see all the classic characters again, but using them in repeats just don't work. Besides, the format of the set was...
Only one season 50 ep? I'm guessing you're referring to either the premiere or the finale. We'll just have to wait and see. Of course, it may be a longer wait for those of us who don't get HBO. You never know how soon they'll put those online.
Oh, okay. I guess it's season 50 when we'll hear new material with Carroll as Big Bird and Oscar being that, 50 was the last season he recorded lines for. We'll see.
Well, I don't know. Foodies does seem to be a good concept. Heck, I've even got a few snack ideas from that segment that I haven't thought of before like peanut butter/apple sandwiches and banana chips. But I agree the formula does get repetitive. I always find it strange that Gonger always gets...
Hmmm. I noticed that too. Even Maria only spoke Spanish as needed and often ended the show with 'Adios,' but it wasn't in every sentence. It does seem like with Nina, she keeps throwing in Spanish words and phrases at random.
You know, I thought BB's singing part sounded a little like Carroll. I may be wrong on this. After all, I was wrong once in 1987 so it's possible. Plus Carroll has recorded lines for BB and Oscar up to season 50 and it does seem like Carroll performs more of Big Bird when he sings. Just my thoughts.
