Carroll Spinney I think I have read it about the same,I read his book for insprisation and ideas, I remember the first time I read it My Wife And Family got mad Because i would not put the book down It took me two days to read it. the sad part is when Carroll was helping Jim Henson on a shoot...

Puppet damage Tis ture:D I geuss the muppet and fraggles had more funding But from what I got from carroll's book is that Jim Henson saw the Puppets as props to get his point across. Not to mention the picture of the Muppet workshop shows Multipul copies of the same chararter.

Damaged puppets You have to remeber that the Henson People and the muppet are a very weathly company (or were)so having a puppet get wet or eat something , If it tore up they just build a new puppet they have porfessional to build them, It doesn't cost that much to build puppet it's the time...

Big Bird Have you read Caroll Spinney's Book The Wisdom of Big Bird (and The Dark genouis of Oscar the Grouch) It has a lot of explaination of how Big Bird Was Created Check It out, also I know the belly is made with ribbing material

Statler and waldorf You should make shure that you dress them in Biblical costums that will add to the comdic effect:) :boo: :sleep:

I was wanting to find the foam they use to carve puppet like gonzo, a few years back i was watching a muppet program that show gonzo being made and I didn't know if their is any different in that faom and the foam you buy at the fabric store Any help??!!:concern:
