Little Nicky. This is one of the rare "dumb-humor" movies I really liked; also, I liked "Mr. Deeds" and "Happy Gilmore". "Waterboy" had its moments ("Water sucks, it really, really sucks!), but I didn't like it a whole lot.
A few friends of mine have seen "The Longest Yard", but I haven't...
Oh, my! Finally, some real cooking, done with atypical A-merican flair! Honey baked ham! Potatoes! Oh, what was it you wanted? Here you go. Now just make sure you remember to eat with proper table manners, especially you, the dog! (puts napkin on lap)
Well old friend, obviously I have no problem with this (Dan's gay, and he's a good friend of mine), but you may be right in that this thread could close. Tell you what: Truck it on over to the Rio Grande and I'd be happy to talk with you. Strange that you only found out now, though!

Question: I read on Michael's review that Deadly has a ball-jointed waist, which he compared to those of Statler and Waldorf. Now I could never quite get the waists on S & W to work quite right, so has anyone else experienced "waist trouble" with Deadly?
Weather: The sun wasn't out and it was coolish, but the humidity was present again.
Breakfast: Grilled cheese, iced tea

Actually, the way he portrayed those moments was a bit of a downside. In the original, my absolute favorite moment was in Violet's scene. Sam Beauregard yells at Wonka when Violet is transforming, "Hey, Wonka, do something!" Willy replies in a deadpan, disinterested tone: "Stop. Don't." This...
Unfortunately, that's both true and false. True in that Pixar created the characters and animated them in two films; false in that Disney holds the rights to the Pixar movies. Personally, I hope Tim Allen and his gang turn their backs on Toy Story 3, as they too should be disgusted by it.
Oh...
I can very distinctly remember an event from two years ago when I was rehearsing for a school play, separate from the rest of the school at a theater. It had been raining pretty hard that day. My drama teacher was considering heading to a Tim Horton's across the street, so he opened a delivery...
"Dobby had to iron his hands..."
Yep, you're right. In Mel Stuart's book "Pure Imagination: The Making of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory", he says that Jack Albertson (the original Grandpa Joe) entertained the children (and the adults too) by telling them jokes and doing old vaudeville...
Folks, if there's one thing we could all use a little more of, it's humor. So, this thread was started as a place to put up all your favorite jokes. I'll begin with a favorite of mine:
Murphy went to the doctor, and he was thoroughly examined. The doctor asked him, "Do you smoke?"; Murphy...
Crying- hey, what happened, pal?
Weather: Sunny, but with a good enough breeze to keep it cool. Perfect.
Breakfast: Skipped
Lunch: Macaroni and cheese
Supper: Fried chicken
No, Slugworth was indeed in the books. A villain was needed for the Wilder film, so he was put into use. The original is very little like the book, but it captures lightning in a bottle like this new one can't. And you're right; the grandparents were great (with the exception of the horribly...
Every once in a while, we get a really great Muppeteer on here. Terry Angus; Karen; Was Once Ernie. Mike is no exception. Happy 41st Mike, hope you have a good day!
