So, recently I found out that Fantasyland at Walt Disney World will be expanded, thus causing Toon Town to be demolished in the process. I was wondering your opinions for those of you Disney park fans. My thoughts, personally, are that as long as they're just moving Mickey and Minnie's houses rather than getting rid of them, I'm all for it.

EDIT: Also, they'll be keeping Goofy's Barnstormer, but they're remodeling it to have a Dumbo-inspired circus theme.

I went to WDW last December, and got a little choked up walking through Toontown. As I understand it, Mickey and Minnie will greet guests at the Exposition Hall in Town Square and Pixie Hollow will occupy the area where Toontown once stood. The whole expansion looks impressive, but come on, get rid of Toontown?

*sigh*...I have yet to visit Disney World yet, but part of my reason wanting to go WAS to visit Toontown. Such a shame they're getting rid of it.:sympathy:
