Lefty was one of my favorite characters on Sesame Street. I recently found this clip of him. Does anyone have any idea what the English words might be?
I did bring back this old thread for a reason. I enjoyed reading it and felt like I had to something to add to it—something that someone else might enjoy reading.
I seem to recall a sketch, from the 197o’s or 1980’s, that was made for a pledge drive. In it, Kermit was telling viewers the prices of various pieces of equipment needed to make Sesame Street happen (such as the cameras). As Kermit talked about each piece, Cookie Monster ate it! :insatiable:

I’d want to do a number with Beauregard. We would dance around the stage, dusting, sweeping, and mopping—all the while singing “Whistle While You Work.” Since I can’t whistle, Beau would have to do that part of the song.

This wasn’t a dream about a Muppet, but it did relate to Sesame Street. I dreamed that I was interviewing Paul Benedict and that he was saying how much he enjoyed being the painter of all those numbers!
A wacky sketch I like is where Ernie persuades a reluctant Bert to play “Guess What I Am.” First Ernie pretends to be a dog (even licking Bert’s face!), then waddles and and quacks like a duck. Then it’s Bert’s turn, and he chuffs around the room going, “Chugga chugga, chugga chugga...whoo...
