Want to buy a snowman, Ernie?

Yes indeed. Lefty tries to sell Ernie the snowman for a dollar. But the sun is out, and as time goes by the snowman keeps melting, so Lefty has to offer bigger discounts.
In the end, the snowman melts away, and Lefty tries to sell Ernie a "puddle of water" for the bargain-basement price of five cents. Liquid assets.

LOL, thanks, fuzzygobo! A new twist on Lefty’s pricing technique. But, Ernie, I wouldn’t buy those liquid assets if I were you. They’d just evaporate.
