Yeah. All the great ones seem to leaving us. In the immortal words of Salem Saberhagen: (sob)(sob)(sob)
Actually, Matt Robinson passed away a while ago or did you mean Garrett Saunders who played him in the test shows?
Interesting to note that she appeared on SS before she was a regular...
Oh, boy. I don't know but I thought I'd post a reply anyway because I see this post has bern idle the whole week and believe me I know how frustrating that can be because I often have the same problem. That is a good theory about rotoscoping though. Maybe I'll look that up and see if it's...
Yeah, but she shouldn't be so mean too him. It just seems like Eric's Piggy at times seems to be meaner than Frank's. Remember we had a similar discussion back when the Muppets were on "Good Luck Charlie," on how she's been flanderized of late. She seemed to have mellowed out a bit with "Most...
Is it me or does Piggy seem extra mean here? Usually, she likes when guys flirt with her and just loses her temper when she feels threatened or insulted? I don't know. It just seems that way to me. Though the scene with the chocolates kinda reminded me of a similar scene with chocolates in IAVMMCM.
Yeah. They did in the 1988 pledge drive special, remember Kermit asking Oscar why he liked/dislkied public television. There was also the sketch about the grouch bus stop.
Good one with two most famous green Muppets. 😀
I also liked Oscar's Sally Brown imitation.
And they don't seem to get us much airtime as I had hoped. I really can't get into the show otherwise so it's a pain to have to watch the whole thing just to wait for the Muppets to show up. It's a shame that they make a big deal of promoting the Muppet appearances, when in reality, it's not as...
Wait a minute. Snuffy's not still around. Noooooo! He was just in the alphabet scavenger hunt episode, but that was last season. Say it isn't so. Tell me Snuffy is not going back to his old "Imaginary friend" days. :(
I was wondering about that too. Yeah, things with the Muppets haven't been the same without Steve. I still can't really get used to Matt's Kermit for some reason or other.
Oh, The Muppets are on the show regularly. I thought it was just the first one. Well, no wonder I didn't see Miss Piggy or Sam in the first one even though they showed up in the ad. I guess it's one of those 'keep watching' types of deals.
No. I was referring to when the first five eps from season 1 were repeated over the summer the year they originally aired.
Good memory about the syndicated eps though. I remember they sort of did the opposite of the ones you're talking about, just skipping the "Honey, I'm home" part and just...
Yeah, I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembered that. I think they used it when the five original first season eps were reran and they used it for the initial airing of "When Food Goes Bad," but that's as much as I can remember of that. I'm kind of glad the DVDs just use the full opening...
Hmm. Well, if it aired on a local PBS affiliate, it may have aired on mine. I know PBS usually does the new eps (or the new to PBS eps on Monday), but "Kind Alan," might be a different story since now HBO Max is doing first-run eps. I guess worst case scenario, they'll probably play it again...
