I agree. He doesn't really fit for that role.
I actually think that a theatrical Yogi Bear movie could have worked as a hand-drawn animated film in the same vein as the original cartoons and TV specials.
The whole idea of putting classic cartoon characters in a CGI/live-action movie is getting...
Very true. There was absolutely NO REASON to have big names voice the chipmunks.
But getting back to Zurg for a second; You do have a point there, it could be seen an an in-joke. Though I also have a theory that perhaps Wayne Knight was originally slated to voice Zurg in Toy Story 2, but then...
Yes. but that's not what I'm saying...
The voice of Zurg in Toy Story 2 was Pixar employee Andrew Stanton, I never expected him to to voice the character on the cartoon show, but there's really no point having a comedian like Wayne Knight voice a character like Zurg. They could have gotten...
I don't suppose you have a better reason for not liking the film?
Or perhaps you would be good enough to explain WHY you find it "extremely creepy and disturbing"?
You know what? Never mind. Forget I said anything. I'm staying out of this.
I'm sick and tired of people hating on Cars.
In the...
I know exactly what you mean. I hate it too.
So with that in mind, it doesn't hurt to mention it again;
THE NEW MUPPET MOVIE WILL NOT BE CGI. GET OVER IT
I'm sorry to act so harsh but really guys, this is getting ridiculous. STOP mentioning it. :rolleyes:

Some people are bound to get rubbed the wrong way here...
Yes, it does count. :)
All of those experiences are part of Disney's "living character" initiative.
And I still believe that they are working on a new Muppet Interactive experience, as they mentioned at D23. JUst becuase we haven't heard anything since then, doesn't mean that its not going to...
Because of the big Internet buzz that this made, Disney released an official video.
The video description includes a brief statement from an Imagineer;

And Drtooth; Yeah, the Toy Story ride is in California as well, and Mr. Potato Head has dropped his...
Oh, I know all about the plot that Disney had in mind for Toy Story 3 without Pixar's involvement. Yeah, it would have been bad.
Pixar's vision for Toy Story 3 is so much better, and makes more sense. It was the only logical way to go after Toy Story 2.
It would not have been right to have the...
This news has been out there for while, but in case some people haven't heard about this or seen these videos yet, let me set the stage.
Back in May of this year, Disneyland tested a new character experience. For a few days, Mickey at his house in Toontown could actually talk to people and...
As I recall, the first teaser trailer for Toy Story 3 was shown when Up was released in theaters. (May 29, 2009)
I mean, teaser trailers don't necessarily show footage from the actual film. The could just whip up something brief to get the word out.
