I did a bit of research, and apparently Cosmo and Wanda will only be live-action for part of the film. The rest of the time, they will be CGI and and will supposedly have the same voice actors from the cartoon show.

Holy Cow....I never thought I'd see the day. Nickelodeon seems to be grasping at straws at this point. This would have been so much better as a hand-drawn movie, just like all the other TV movies that the show has had. Also, I agree that the plot stinks.

The one thing that I hate is that someone made a comment on that article (page 2) saying that the Muppets are "a stupid reboot of a long-and rightfully-dead franchise." That really got my blood boiling. Anyone who hates the Muppets has no soul.

Besides Tron Legacy, I certainly hope that Disney will look to Pixar for advice on more of their live-action films.
