Thought I'd share a tweet I just got from Kristin Newman. Since hearing about the "reboot" and the change in showrunners, I've been worried if the show might be drastically different as I've been really enjoying what it's become in these first 10 episodes.
Scooter being my favourite muppet...
A couple articles on MCC have been popping up on online in the past couple days. I haven't seen them posted here, so I thought I would incase anyone hasn't seen them. The first article includes some thoughts by Brian Henson, Steve Whitmire and Dave Goelz on the making of MCC. Interesting to read...
I first listened to the album two years ago. To me, there isn't a more beautiful sound than Linda Ronstadt and Kermit singing "All I Have to Do Is Dream". For me, this is the best version of the song. Linda's voice is just so beautiful and Steve Whitmire is such a great singer.
Thought I'd post here for the first time in a while. I do read the posts here and have been reading all the posts on the latest episodes of the muppets. but for whatever reason, been far too lazy to post my own thoughts. Don't get me wrong, I've been loving the show, but this episode... man...
Oh boy, where to start with how much I love this video! Today alone, I've played it 8 or 9 times so far. Every time I play this video, it really cheers me up -- and also, the song is stuck in my head, which is no bad thing really.
I don't know about everyone else, but this is totally something...
Good lord, that Matt Vogel sure is super-talented and versatile! Not only can he do several Jerry Nelson characters (some that even sound incredibly close to the original voices), but when I was watching that video, it just felt and sounded EXACTLY like Richard Hunt was doing it! Maybe I need to...
Probably a good place to post this here. Last week, I downloaded and listened to the episode of the podcast A Bit Of A Chat with Ken Plume that had Kirk R. Thatcher on it. It's really good and actually a rather candid interview, and around the beginning, Kirk talks about the problems that...
THIS. Exactly my problem with it, too, Drtooth!
I still think that had the show ended after Season 2, they would've gotten away with the ending they did. But after all that's happened in the succeeding years, it just doesn't work AT ALL. And like you said, it just feels like a great big...
Been browsing through, just seen this and felt I had to post when I saw a thread about the HIMYM finale. I could've really done with this thread weeks ago when the finale aired. I really needed to vent then. Drtooth pretty much said everything I felt about the finale. I'm usually a pretty...
I've listened to quite a few episodes of the Nerdist podcast now and it's one of my favourite podcasts to listen to!
I listened to this episode on Saturday night and it's definitely worth a listen! I think any Muppet fan would enjoy it - lots of fascinating stories and insight, and also funny...

This is something I've thinking myself, but I thought I might be a little biased in some way, considering Scooter's my favourite ;) During my first viewing of the movie and even still in the last couple times I've seen it since, I find myself thinking "If Walter wasn't there, that would've...
Saw it for my third time yesterday and bought a couple friends with me this time (I usually go to the cinema on my own, I'm weird like that I guess) and they really enjoyed it. There weren't a lot of people there but to be honest, in the four of five times I saw TM in 2012, there weren't a lot...
Commentaries by the (remaining) Muppet Performers would be wonderful - either on select episodes, or would all episodes be asking too much? :p
A nice, in-depth and quite long retrospective documentary would be great, too.
Commentaries and (in-depth) documentaries are the types of DVD/Blu ray...
I thought I'd post my initial views from an advanced screening I went to on Sunday (I have to wait till next Friday when the film is released here in the UK to see it again.) Unfortunately, there were a lot of loud and badly-behaved children at this screening, so there were times when I couldn't...
Considering the first character you mentioned appeared in the "Food Fight" Muppisode, I'm not really surprised either. Also, Bobin and Stoller seem to love these characters who haven't been seen in a long while just as much as we do (I remember Bobin speaking of his love for Thog and Link...
I don't know if this has been brought up before but one thing that's bugged the **** out of me is why aren't the Muppet Performers credited in the posters (and DVD/Blu ray releases) for The Muppets and Muppets Most Wanted?!:boo: Every other Muppet movie in their posters and DVD/VHS...
I think this would be the right thread to post this news in... I just thought I'd let you know that today I discovered that Odeon Cinemas are doing a "(charity) advance screening" of MMW this sunday at 2PM! I don't know if it's all Odeon cinemas or just a select few but I shall going to the one...
Yeah, I always wondered why they didn't have Jerry loop his voice for Lew Zealand  I thought Bill Barretta did a really good job though.
Also, sorry about this, but can't resist pointing out that there is one Statler line they left unlooped towards the end of the film ("Historical...
