No worries, on my end. I didn't get the sense that you enjoyed the segment.
In terms of the format of sesame street...which is a whole other discussion...I have a hard time seperated the feeling having something of my childhood tampered with or something that was genuinely done to benefit...
Alas, according to Amazon.com it only comes in English (Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono) among other languages. Funny thing is both TMM and GMC were remastered...I just don't understand how these things work.
Hey there everybody,
I really don't care much for "Monster's Clubhouse". I don't think the characters are terribly interesting, well-defined or memorable in any way. Of course, in the span of five minutes (and manic ones at that) it's hard to really develop anything of substance.
I...
Sunny days, keeping the clouds away
on my way to where the air is sweet
can you tell me how to get
how to get to sesame street
on my way, everythings a-okay
friendly neighbours there that's where we meet
can you tell me how to get
how to get to sesame street
it's a magic carpet ride...
Well, it's a a great price but...a lot of purists (myself included) would say it's worth paying the extra price for the widescreen edition of the film. You'll get the full picture that director Frank Oz envisioned for the film rather than the cropped version.
Phil,
That's a wonderful find which you are very fortunate to have a copy of.
I think Jeff Moss was an incredible talent and has quickly become one of my favorite songwriters. He, along with Joe Raposo, gave the Muppets a wonderful musical voice. I truly love the music from the early...
Unfortunately, I think this was shot after Jim's passing. The episode was dedicated to his memory. However, I could be wrong about the time-frame in which this was shot. There are people on this board who are more knowledgable than I am who might be able to confirm this.
Hey there,
the character that took Cliff's money, I believe is named "Leon"...he also has a cool tail that Kevin Clash was proud to show off in the JHH making of episode.
The character who trys to cut Cliff is named "Digit" he was performed by Dave Goelz.
I just noticed that somone...
It's the Pinball Number Count from Sesame Street.
For some reason I have in my mind that the Pointer Sisters were the vocalists on that interstitial.
that's about it
Aside from some of the really big favorites of everybody's "Follow Me" and all those...
I also really like "What If a Friend" as sung by Jr. Gorg and "There's a lot I Want to Know" and "Here to There".
grail, it's a great set. I bought it when it first was released to DVD a few years back. The documentary is insightful, especially if you haven't read the book "Battle for Brazil". Gilliam's Commentaries are always insightful as well as self-effacing. The only minor disappointment is found...
Hey Nate,
The Snow White DVD is a standard setting DVD in the animation genre as well as what to do right with a film that is over 50 years old. At the risk of sounding cliched both critics and fans (hardcore and cursory) have raved about the contents. Here's a link to a positive review at...
Re: Reply
It's a sketch where Ernie calls himself the world's greatest counter of numbers. So he starts demonstrating and counts...very...very...slowly. He also gets distracted by Bert very easily and then starts all over again. This is what drives Bert to the point of growling.
It's...
Like most of you I really dig the Pinball Number Count as well as, The Alligator King, Jim Henson's "Song of (insert number here)" interstials and The Ladybug's Picnic.
I didn't know Grace Slick and Jefferson Airplane contributed to the 123456789------10 animations. Where did y'all find out...
