We are nearly just over half way through the Muppet Show series when this one is released. I wonder what will happen then? Maybe DVD releases or other Muppet stuff that hasn't been available before?
I think Fozzie for season 3 is a good idea. Gonzo should be next and I think Animal will...
Is there a shot of Sam's feet in The Muppet Movie?
The problem when making posers is more than a few of the Muppets don't actually have feet or at least didn't at the beginning. Miss Piggy is a good example. She wears shoes most of the time as her feet are just blocks. She doesn't have toes...
The main 5 are a good place to start. Hopefully, if MR sell as many as they need too quickly enough and hold the license for long enough, we should see more. The hold on Gonzo, due to material complications, may have caused a slight problem but, even if they haven't found a successful...
That's fine but don't forget this is a pre-order. When pre-ordering an item you should be aware that the item is not ready for release yet hence it is a pre-order. I agree that once the item is available there should be an accurate representation of what you are purchasing. If anyone has worries...
I think it has been said on here before that MR rarely show a picture of the final product and only the prototype. They like to get pre-orders ready for when they know the product is ready for shipping back from China and before that actually receive it themselves. It's obviously worked well...
There will need to an awful lot of effort in terms of materials, clothing and the accuracy of being reproduced in China may all be reasons why Piggy is on hold. I personally have never been too keen on Piggy memorabilia in any form, Miss Piggy dolls and figures have always seemed slightly boring...
I think the idea of not posing these replicas face on is to make them look more like they are an item to purchase rather than a Muppet with personallity. As soon as you have one of these guys looking straight at you or straight into a camera lens, all the life and realism comes into them.
I...
Covering her in the same material that MR's Animal's arms and body are covered with wouldn't be far wrong. In the right colour of course. I don't know if adding tonal colouring would be a problem in that case tho as she has different shades on different parts of her face.
I think at lot of what she lacks nowadays is in the hair style. I hope they stick to the classic dark blonde look for the MR replica. Kermit and Animal don't seem completely based on the new look of the characters but have been done somehwere inbetween that doesn't match with any particular era...
Ideally I would like her to look like this:

She definitely needs her trademark gloves and this outfit seems to be the iconic look. As long as she doesn't look too much like the modern version with the pale complexion, straight, short...
I know what you mean. The slightly streamlined and slightly prettier version. As long as it's not too close to the newer Piggy with the very light and toneless complexion and shorter, blonder, straight hair. Piggy's hair needs to be darkish blonde, with a slight wave, and quite a way past...
Hopefully she will be wearing the purple opera gloves. How about the hair? Long, short, curly, straight, brown, blonde? What would be the iconic Piggy look?

That look is my favorite.
I pre-ordered from The Collector Zone but didn't notice difference. Maybe getting Animal for £150 was a fluke? As long as they keep up the quality, I don't mind paying the same again for Gonzo even if he is smaller.
I always wondered that. Even Kermit does a Porky Pig parody at the end of a Muppet special and gets it wrong. I always considered it a stuttered "that's". I started to think that maybe I had got it wrong.
There are certain appearances of Kermit in promotional photographs and on TMS where he is starting to look slightly "bobbled". An effect that seems to happen with most fabrics over time. I think these replicas, as they start to age slightly, will start to look a little more authentic and not so...
Maybe a strange question but has anyone decided to trim his hair? His moustache seems longer in the MR replica than on any promotional photographs I can find.
