    Kermit version 2

Love how flexible the mouthplate is might have to try that on my next Kermit it's the main area I wasn't happy with on my last attempt. Greg

    Ernie attempts number one

I think the hair definitely needs to be wider (closer to the ears) next time also. I think that will help give it a more football shaped head.

Hi Bob, I can't give you the pattern, but it's purchasable from Project Puppet's website. It's the forma series rotundo puppet pattern. Probably a little more rounded than the real Ernie but once the hair and features are on it's pretty close. It's one of the more expensive patterns as you...

Anybody know were to get replicas?

Are you looking for the mr photo replica Kermit or a generic Kermit working puppet? There is a person who puts Kermit puppets on eBay that are redesigned plush figures. They are cheap and not bad. They usually sell for between $150 - $200. Other options are to make one yourself. Using the pic of...

    My first build - kermit

Hey Muppetlab, sounds like a good plan. I'm hoping my next (final) version will be made from Antron fleece. I'm waiting for my supplier to get some more white fleece in stock then I'll start experimenting with the colors. I was quite happy with my last attempt, and in pics quite closely...

    My first build - kermit

He turned out great you must be thrilled. Hope my next Kermit attempt is half as good. Greg

    My $2.00 puppet

Looks great what a fantastic first build and a very inventive way to do it. He's very cute well done.

    My first build - kermit

Looking fantastic. Kermit was my first build too and I think yours is far superior to my first version. I think the body is perfect.

    Freddy Monster

Thanks I wasn't sure about doing a furry nose, particularly one so large but I was really happy with the way he turned out in the end. He's quite cute and looks friendly.

The pupils were just black felt circles with sticky backing from the hardware store they are used for the legs of furniture on wooden floors. If you look up my previous posts I put some more details about where I found the eye blanks. Greg

    Cookie Monster Puppet Replica

Hi, sorry no I can't. 80% of the pattern doesn't belong to me it was purchased from project puppet. It's the borsa pattern. It's one of the more expensive patterns but well worth it. The rest I made up with no pattern which probably wasn't the smartest if I ever want to rebuild him but I was...

    Cookie Monster Puppet Replica

Hi all, I've spent my Christmas toilet training my son. I've downloaded the Sesame Street android app for my Asus tablet so he can watch sesame street videos while he sits which makes it more enjoyable for him (and me). He absolutely loves cookie monster (almost more than he loves Elmo) so as...

Hi all, as I mentioned in my previous post, I've just now purchased all the patterns from Project Pattern so am trying to find puppet projects to make with them that will also be well received by my little boy. I purchased the forma series with fleece coverings. This is the rounder pattern...

    Freddy Monster

Hi all, I decided to purchase the rest of the Project Puppet Patterns (prior to Christmas I only had all the simple series). I now own them all, so decided to start with the Borsa Pattern. Followed it exactly as it stood except I drew the arms onto the pattern so that when it came time to sew...

    Your Dream Muppet Collectible

Mine would be either an original Jim Henson Kermit puppet from the muppet show era or an original Jim Henson Ernie puppet. Just below that would be an original frank oz Cookie Monster puppet.

    The Maestro Puppet

Borsa is great well worth it. My Elmo was made using their monstro pattern with no deviations at all. Worked well.
